Good for Self-defense
I use this baseball bat primarily for self-defense, and it’s perfect for that purpose. It’s lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, and the grip is comfortable. Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s meant for playing baseball, but it gets the job done for what I need!

Self Defense "Only"
This is advertised as both a self defense bat and an actual baseball bad, even for use in a batting cage (read the description). Don't hit baseballs with this. On my very first swing with a ball that was soft-tossed, I left a 4 inch long deep indention of baseball seams. If you have ever used a wooden bat or baseball purposes, you know this is the first indication that the bat isn't going to last very long. Additionally, the very first swing, the grip came loose and started to unravel. Simply put, this bad has zero business being called a useable baseball bat.As a worst case emergency self-defense tool, it is decent. I re-gripped the bat, it is nice and long, and is lightweight enough that you can get a quick swing on it.Just don't expect this to serve as a bat you hit baseballs with....

This is exactly as described, a Thumper. Very good quality bat with appropriate hand grip, along with good weight distribution, making it easy to swing and control for good performance. Would definitely consider a good value and recommend.

I wouldnt trust this to defend me.
Its really, REALLY light weight, so if you are a child or a small woman that would be in your favor. I haven't given anything a solid thwacking with this because Im sure it will break as soon as I do. The grip unwrapped simple by me tightening my grip around the handle. Its light so maybe its quick enough to land a first blow and if you connect solidly to the head you could give someone a nice lump, but I dont think its giving anyone a concussion, which might be what your looking for. If someone attacked me with this bat i think I could take it and shrug off the blows pretty easily.

Long versatile bat for Home Defense.
This is a well made bat, and an exceptional value for $22. You'd be hard pressed to find a better home defense tool for this price. At 34 inches, this bat offers an extended reach, and allows any user to generate quite a lot of swing power. But this bat can also be used for fun playing backyard baseball and tee ball, although I wouldn't expect it to be used as a high grade baseball or softball bat. All in all, this bat is an exceptional value for what it's advertised to do, and I would highly recommend it.

Great lightweight bat for keeping by the front door
Title says it all! This bat is lightweight and very comfortable in the hand, and suitable for either a one-handed or two-handed grip. It isn't the heaviest thing in the world, but it stays nicely beside the door, and will be up for most tasks that might call for it. Seems to be a quality bat, and the color is a nice consistent/even stain, not blotchy or cheap looking.
