Plug and play, easy to use.
This card reader is really to use on windows. Just plug it into the usb port, and the system would then recognize it and download the appropriate drivers. This is a magnetic card reader, and had no problem to read all the plastics I have with magnetic strips on. So I am definitely happy with it. It's not working on Mac though. Plugging it in won't trigger any prompt in mac os, and I was not able to find any drivers of it for mac online. I hope the manufacturer could clarify the support for mac and linux of this product.

Simple and robust
Well-constructed, feels very durable. Reads the mag stripes on the cards in my wallet, very fast, without issue. The brass threaded inserts on the bottom are a nice touch, making it easy to mount.
