Great replacement pump!
So glad Amazon carried this! The hand pump on my Saunders traction unit went bad ( I use it nearly every day) and I was really upset that I might have to spend hundreds on a new unit, when all I needed was the pump. The new pump attached perfectly and works great.

Be careful, you can damage your neck if you think this is the Cervical pump
I bought this as a replacement for the Saunders Cervical Traction Home Traction Device hand pump. But it is not the same as the pump that came with the cervical traction device, the pump is on a totally different scale, it goes up twice as fast. So I thought I was pumping to 30 pounds but it was actually 60 pounds, and I damaged my neck. So be careful.Other than that, it's a good replacement, fits the traction device correctly, etc. A little over-priced, but that goes without saying.

Work's like the PT's apparatus
I am an octogenarian. I have been using my Saunders lumbar traction device for a little over a month now. It does what the traction apparatus in my PT’s office did when I had sciatica in 2017. Only it is much more convenient at home. I have degenerative disc disease, and traction is recommended for my condition. I do not know if traction is recommended for all types of sciatica, but I would have a diagnosis before using the device.I use the device once or twice a day for 20 minutes while I am recovering, along with stretches and exercise. You pump is up as fast or as slow as you like. I never use the hold position. I find that the pressure holds as well in the pump position as in the hold position; and I don’t have to keep switching back and forth when I want to increase the pressure. It is true that as you get to higher pressures, the upper and lower harnesses slip because your clothing slips on your body, or just from breathing; and when this happens the pressure will drop, and I pump it back up to the pressure I want to maintain.I find it much easier and quicker for someone to strap me in than for me to try and do it myself. I use mine on the floor, with pillows under my head. I find it so comfortable that I have gone to sleep and been in it as long as 40 minutes at pressure. The highest traction pressure that I have used is 48lbs. Different people will use different pressures, and of course you can gradually increase the pressure after using the device over time. I hope this info is helpful to new users.

Good replacement pump
The pressure guage for the replacement pump was different than the original pump, but works very well.
