Crazy that you can buy this for only £5 more than a replacement foil pack.
When my PF7400 finally wore through it's first foil cutter, I searched for a replacement cutter pack, but was horrified to find they were all priced well above £20. At the same time, this slightly better model - the PF7600 (which shares the same head) could be bought for £28.The no-brainer of no-brains (that's me).Being effectively the same shaver - similar body shape and controls, same cutter head but with an improved battery (and 5V instead of 4V) - I wasn't surprised to find that it worked just as well as its predecessor. How well is 'just as well'? Overall very pleasing; it isn't loud, it doesn't vibrate unpleasantly, it is comfortable to hold. It also has a wide cutting head which is comfy against the skin - it feels as tho' it has a large contact area. The central cutter is also effective and I cannot remember when a stray longer hair sneaked past its devastating blade.'Devastating blade'?! Yup - it can't 'alf cut yer lip if you are not careful. So now I'm very careful. When shaving my upper lip area, I now hold the head at an angle so that only the top foil does the job. This keeps the central trimmer away from making direct contact with my actual pursed lip below - because such direct contact CAN cut. This is now automatic, and I don't consider it a significant issue.Overall a comfy shaver that gives a very effective shave. The trimmer also works well, although its sideways direction makes it slightly more awkward to direct.Apart for lip-cutting, the other annoyance is the position of the on/off and trimmer controls; these are perfectly fine, as long as you hold the shaver one way only. I often swap hands and hold the shaver 'back-to-front' in order to do the right-hand side of my neck, and find that my fingers constantly turn the darned thing off and/or pop out the trimmer. The PF7600 is seemingly a bit more powerful than the 7400 - or at least a longer-acting battery - but also has the clear advantage of being able to be run from the mains charger in use.

Very good once you can get in the box!
Good value for money, cheaper than buying a set of foils for my old one. Works well but you have no chance of being able to return it in its original packaging if it goes wrong as its so well packed you have to destroy the packaging to get it out.Good replacement unit.

Closest shave ever!
I have used many electric razors over the years, starting with Philips rotary shavers. But then the closeness and smoothness of the shave deteriorated as the models were updated with more bells & whistles. I therefore switched to foil razors, and started with Braun. After two razors which lasted 4 years, I tried a Panasonic, which gave a slightly smoother and closer shave than the Brauns. When the foil/cutters,needed replacing, and after much research, I decided to buy a Remington razor. Despite the low price, the PF7600 had the best reviews and was almost as cheap as a new foil/cutters for my Panasonic. This is the closest shave I have ever had from an electric razor. These cutters are VERY sharp, I felt the difference straight away. Do not let the price put you off. You need to allow 2 weeks to allow for your skin and beard to get used to the new razor. Use it daily for 14 days, and use pre electric shave lotion. Massage it in to your beard against the grain, and leave for 1 minute before shaving. Use short, linear strokes, stretching your skin taut with your non-shaving hand. Do not apply too much pressure, let the weight and balance of the razor do the work. Afterwards, use a liberal amount of a sensitive post shave balm, I use Nivea. The smoothness and closeness of the shave will then gradually improve over 2 weeks as you perfect your technique, be patient. You will then get a shave as close as a wet shave, even one with a double edge safety razor. I shaved one half of my face with my double edge safety razor and the other half with the Remington. I couldn't tell the difference, except the wet shave takes over twice as long!I have not been paid for this review, I just wanted to share the benefit of my experience and, maybe, save you money in your attempt to get a smooth, close shave from an electric razor in 3 minutes.

GOOD FOR IT'S PRICING CATEGORY
I don't expect miracles from electric shavers. However, what I have worked out is that the blade assemblies and foils on the most expensive models are identical to those on the cheaper ones in each company's range - so I buy the more economical ones without forking out for all the unnecessary bells and whistles. This Remington PF7600 is not so different from a Braun series 3 shaver that I had, and my first shave with this Remington was pretty impressive. The charge-up time from a flat battery is about 2 hours. My decades long habit of growing a beard - then being clean shaven - then growing a beard again now seems to be at an end, so I maintain a regular daily regime of facial defoliation these days and this Remington is a good deal better than many for that purpose. Spares seem easier on the pocket too. I have absolutely no negative comments to make about this product and am happy that I chose it.Eamonn

Not premium but really excellent shaver
Really good close shave fairly quick at removing stubble and is pretty comfortable to use.The shaver itself does not have a premium feel but does the job excellent!

Gives a closer/better shave than the pricier electric shavers!
I’ve just bought another one of these for my dad, he has a much more expensive shaver and after trying mine he couldn’t believe how closely this one shaves.I can’t believe I wasted cash on fancy costly models when this one seems to have such a powerful motor that leaves me with a much better result.Main points are:Closest electric shave I’ve ever had;Very long battery life and I use mine daily;Fully waterproof but I just dry brush mine;Zero irritation on the face, just take a little more care on the neck as alwaysIve read about others buying expensive replacement foils but after a year of VERY heavy use Mine are as good as new. The shaver is so cheap that by the time they need replacing I would consider just buying another one depending on how the battery life fairs over time. Can’t recommend enough!
