Works!!
There’s no difference between the trendy pimple patches and products like this. hydrocolloid dressing has been used in a clinical setting for a long time (thanks for the gatekeeping!)So, I tend to buy the hospital grade kind like this brand- the patches are large but you can cut them to whatever size you want. They work exactly as they’re supposed to, although, if you’re treating a pimple that has puss under the surface, you may need to wait for it to “crown” or you may need to shallowly puncture it with a sterile needle. But I am NOT a doctor, so please seek the advice of a board certified dermatologist. Either way, these work well!

Who needs stitches?!?!
I had an oopsy when I was playing with knives & wood. I needed stitches, but who has the time or money for that nonsense?! These arrived promptly, & have been keeping my pinky dry, sterile, & protected. It’s looking better already! The healing is evident!PS: do not be an idiot like me!!! Go get the stitches!!! Then use these to help things heal quicker.

Be careful. Would not come off my skin!
Update: Seller reached out with full refund offer unsolicited. I would still be careful with sensitive/delicate skin and wounds. I would recommend for acne as it pulls well.Orginial post:These arrived well packaged and sealed. They seemed just as good as my expensive store brand. I cleaned the area as usual and applied one of the bandages. It was left on for 2.5 days. During this time it was comfortable and adhered well. After 2.5 days I decided to change the dressing. I started to gentle pull it off my skin but it wouldn't come off! It was stuck on. I had to use first alcohol then coconut oil. The glue wouldnt release and seemed embedded. Ive never had this before. Finally after tugging it off I was left with very irrated skin and a 4 x 4 square area around my 1" wound of glue that took over 24 hours to finally remove. Now I will say it didn't stick badly to the wound...that would be unforgivable...seriously. But it was a painful scary situation that could cause problems if that glue gets in my wound...which of course it did...so yep not using these again. Might be just me or the type of skin/wound I have. I have an undiagnosed irritated area on my nipple that I'm waiting to see a doctor for. I do have sensitive skin and regular bandages sometimes irrate me....so it could be me. Yet the glue staying on my skin, around my wound, after it has been forcibly removed is not ok. That is one of the reasons I bought these. Protect my wound and the surrounding area.So these did NOT work for me. I will be returning. I would not recommend.

Excellent at helping wounds heal
I had a pretty bad wound and my daughter introduced me to these types of bandages. They have been a life saver and helped my wound heal while keeping the area clean and sealed. I’ll never not have these on hand again! Plus you can cut them down to the sizes you need, especially as you wound heals and becomes smaller.

Watertight.
My child has a J-PEG. I purchased these to cover it when we went to a water park. It makes the port less noticeable and it protected it from getting not so clean water park water in it and I didn’t have to worry the port would leak in the community water.

These caused more issues. Will not purchase again
Update: After posting this review, the company reached out to me and offered mena full refund which I received promptly. I also took this opportunity to ask about the possibility of latex or latex adjacent products in their products. I received prompt responses (they assured me non of their products have any latex at all) and also a promise to take my experience to their team that works on improving and deveoping products. I understand that while these did not help me at all and actually made things worse, they may work well for others, so I just want to say that my experience with the product was poor, but to be fair, the company did a good job doing what they could to make it better and fix it for the future, so I am changing this review to reflect that. Sometimes some things aren't for everyone, but the fact that this company will continue to strive towards better quality and take customer feedback seriously counts for something. Changing this fromc1 star to 3. 04/28/2024I had a open wound that required wet wound care, and the doctor recommended at a certain stage I use hydrocolloid bandages. The injury was rather deep and took a long time to heal, and I ran out of the hydrocolloid bandages from a different company and decided to order these since they were reasonably priced compared to other similar options. They arrived in good shape, individually wrapped, and clean. I had no concerns using them based on the way they were packaged. Actually, the packaging was really good with batch numbers and such on every bandage, well sealed thick seemingly sterile plastic, and I felt more secure using them after seeing the individually wrapped bandages. I cleaned the wound and applied the first bandage. Then the problems started. Up to this point, the wound had been healing nicely, and I had had no issues. The next morning after applying the first hydrocolloid bandage from ourmed, I noticed the area around the wound was itchy and irritated. Upon investigating I saw that the whole bandage had come away from my skin, and was bunched up and left the wound exposed. I should mention that the wound was less than an inch across and wide, and these were 4x4 inch bandages so there was more than enough bandage around the wound on all sides so there should not have been any wound exposed on any side. I removed the bandage and cleaned the wound, made sure the skin was dry, and reapplied a new bandage, this time being sure not to bend my leg or do anything that could cause the bandage to shift or move before it had had time to adhere properly. The bandage appeared to be well applied and stuck on sufficiently, so I carried on with my day. Within a few hours, my skin was again feeling irritated. Again, the bandage had come away from the skin, but not as badly as the first one. Had it stopped with finding they didn't stick well, I would have just taped down the edges and kept using them. However, I noticed that the skin where the bandage had been was very red in the exact shape as the bandage, and was warm to the touch and uncomfortable. This forced me to leave the hydrocolloid bandage off, risking the wet environment the wound needed for proper healing. I had no choice by to apply a medicine to the wound to keep it moist, and keep my leg up while trying to figure out how to cover it again. While keeping the bandage off a few hours, I saw the skin where the bandage had been had become scaly and red. It looked like it was chapped or sunburnt, but with much worse peeling. This was from the rash the bandage created. I have no issue with other brands of hydrocolloid bandages left on for several days, so it made no sense to me that while it didn't stick well, it appeared to have taken off a lot of skin and left it raw and painful. I have a slight allergy to latex which causes rashes, but I had checked to be sure these didn't contain latex. I ended up having to wrap the wound with gauze and change the dressings often which was contraindicated for healing. Acfer several days, I tried again with these bandages as the ones I ordered to replace of these ones were delayed and I couldn't find anything in a brick and mortar store. Again within 12 hours I had a repeat of the last 2 applications. It has been several weeks since the wound closed, and since I needed to bandage it. The skin around the wound is just healing now. It became shiny and red, and then scaly and peeled for a few weeks just from applying these bandages 3 times over 2 days. Hydrocolloid bandages are meant to be worn for several days and I should have never needed 3 in 2 days, but also should not have experienced the complications with the wound, as well as the additional injury to the healthy skin where the bandage was applied. I have NO doubt that if I applied a clean bandage from the ourmed ones I received, I would have another reaction and what I can only assume is a chemical burn of some sort wherever I placed it. This was painful and irritating, as well as scary when there was an open wound involved. I don't know if there was sterility issues or not, if it was made with improper or inferior ingredients, or if there was some type of adhesive applied that was not as it should be for skin. These didn't stick well at all which by itself could cause an issue with sterile wet wound care, but it was even worse that it caused such a bad reaction to the skin. It's too soon to tell, but it looks like it is going to leave at least temporary scarring to the effected skin. I have used several other brands of hydrocolloid bandages and have had no issues with any of rhem. Also, I bought the thin version of these as there was minimal weeping or draining left with the original wound at the time I chose the thickness so I should have been fine, or better off even, with the thin version. I don't know if it was because something was different with the thin version, if it was a bad batch, or an inferior ingredients but I'm not willing to go through all this again, so I will be throwing away an almost full box of these and will not buy them again. I do not recommend these and despite the extra cost, it is actually better to pay more. Since I could not use them I paid even more than if I had gone with a brand at a much higher price point. Lesson learned, and if I ever have another open wound or burn requiring hydrocolloid bandages, I will be steering clear of this brand.

Klebt wunderbar

Looks ugly, works magic
I had a scrape that kept getting knocked and wouldn't heal. This was so easy to use, could sleep without worry and it healed within a day of use. no clue why I haven't heard of these before
