Comfortable crib mattress; uncertain about durability
I got this to replace a 12 year old Serta crib mattress that we had gotten 2nd hand and used with 2 kids now (about 2 years with our oldest and 18 months with our youngest so far). I can't decide if I like this mattress better or not, but I have decided that we will use it for now. Here are some thoughts and comparisons:Our Serta mattress is covered in a completely waterproof plastic-feeling material. I can literally wipe it down with a wet washcloth if I want to. This Evenflo mattress has cloth on the outside and foam inside. It says 'water resistant', which is not the same as 'waterproof'. I know it makes it less breathable, but I put a waterproof mattress protector over it (under the sheet) because I don't trust this to not get wet. I haven't really tested it because I don't want to end up with a wet mattress just to know how 'resistant' it is.The Serta mattress has coils inside and feels like it is a more durable mattress. That said, this Evenflo mattress feels more consistently smooth across it, whereas the Serta one you can kind of feel the springs shifting around a tiny bit when you move. I suppose that doesn't happen as much with my 1.5 year old since she is 1/6th my weight, although she does jump and bounce around sometimes. The foam inside of this Evenflo mattress is firm, however, it is already starting to scrunch in the corners from the tight crib sheets being stretched over it. It doesn't seem like it will last a long time.I pulled these both out and put them on the floor, then tried to figure out which one I found more comfortable. It was not a quick decision, but I did settle firmly on the Evenflo because of how much smoother it is, and I think it has the slightest bit more softness to it. I asked my kids their opinions as well. My 18 month can't talk yet but she did assertively move over to the Evenflo mattress and pat it like she knew what I was asking, lol. She also has been sleeping on it with no issues. My 4 year old likes the Serta and wants it in her room now, but I am not sure if she really tried them both out.The Evenflo mattress is very light-weight and easy to move around. It is also quite snug in our crib; I have to push it down to get it to go into place. I don't think that is a bad thing.I like this mattress and think that it is a good mattress, but if you are looking to get one mattress for a bunch of kids I don't know if I would rely on this lasting long due to the type of construction and how it could be compressed over time. But I am just speculating and could be wrong; we haven't used it long enough to say for sure.

Perfect replacement for our 2 year old
We had our old mattress since oldest son was born and with youngest being 2 and really big boy old mattress started having the deep spots and I mean after 6 years it was time to go and get new replacement. Our crib will turn to bed once we can trust our toddler but it is far away so definitely needed new mattress. I love that 2 sides made for different stages, one for infants that much firmer and another for toddler that tiny bit softer. Honestly once baby is older you can use any side but we went with softer of course. Needless to say he been sleeping great and I have 100% piece of mind as as him being comfortable. We haven’t had any accidents yet but I love the water resistant cover, you absolutely must have that with little kids even when they are in diapers or pull ups because there is still a chance of overflowing during night time. So we are happy with this mattress and baby sleeping great!

"Dual Sided," Quality "Breathable" Mattress!
This is a truly "wonderful" crib mattress I ordered for my daughter, which will serve her extremely well! It's awesome that this mattress features two sides, firmer for infants and slightly softer for toddlers! It's modern and "stylish," and will work great with either of her two small babies. All she needs now, since her newest infant is still using a bassinet, is a second crib. She actually had these two, precisely about a year apart, born on the "same" birth date, definitely hard or "challenging" on her, but will pay off handsomely in the long run!She is strong though, and this mattress will be a real blessing when the time comes. Love that it is made and marketed as "Green, Gentle and "Breathable!" You couldn't ask for "anything" better! As far as stats go, she's says that it is true to size, fit the standard crib perfectly. And, that it is also extremely well designed and crafted, and the material is soft and smooth.Only minor suggestion she recommends is that the "toddler" side be softer, it is quite firm and she feels like a "memory foam" topper, at least to some degree, would be a good idea. That there will be those who desire a little more cushy coziness. Finally, the mattress is a bit expensive, particularly given the fact that many will need to purchase a crib as well, and are on a budget. Lol!Excellent, High Quality, Standard Size Crib Mattress.4Stars!****

Feels very cheap
I'm glad we only got this to use as a dog bed, because it's very cheap feeling. Much lesser quality than our old one.Fits a standard crib sheet.

Reasonable price
Durable and comfortable I like that it was dual sided so that when our kids grow up we dont have to hear the extra squeaky side for as long as this is used.

Already Love This Mattress
Despite the long shipping time, I am very happy with this purchase. I noticed that the mattress my almost 4 year old was using on her toddler bed was cracking--it makes sense as it's the same mattress her 7 year old older sister used. So, when I saw this, I decided it was time to replace her mattress. When we received it, we immediately opened it up and checked it out. My husband laid on both sides and was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was. I laid down on it as well, and was also happy. The first night my daughter slept on it, she slept in the next morning, and woke up saying, "I LOVE my new bed."A really great feature is that it has two sides with different firmness for different aged kids--0-12 months is slightly firmer as a safety measure. It's from a great brand, and it has a water-resistant cover (super necessary with little ones). At about $125, you are getting a great mattress at a great price!
