Isadora fully cooked pollo con mole
The flavor got better the second day, but the chicken was like chicken jerky. Very tough.

Cocoa + Chicken = No Bueno
I tired to like it. And the first half wasn't too bad. I _was_ very hungry. Maybe that's why. But the second half is when I began to taste it for what it really was.The cocoa taste is rather prominent. I don't know about other people, but I realized today that cocoa + chicken (or any meat) = No Bueno. I couldn't finish all of it and threw what remained away. I hardly ever throw food away, unless I really, REALLY don't like it.I don't think I would ever eat this again, even if it was free, unless it was a genuine survival situation. And even then I would choose to eat a plain can of tuna without anything in it over this. I think I would choose just about any other canned food in my cupboard except for maybe plain ol' kidney beans. A tough decision between those two.I paid $4.95 for it through slickdeals. Even at that price I wouldn't recommend it just because this particular flavor is 'bleh'. But at the regular price of $10.79??? Heck no!Maybe some of their other flavors are better, but this, nuh uh. No way. During the first-half of the meal I was thinking 3-stars, but by the end it was 2. Why not one? Because 1-star is barely edible, borderline not. This stuff is marginally "better" than that, but that's mainly because the cocoa flavor with meat.

A Convenient Way To Always Have A Ready To Eat Protein On Hand
Isadora Fully Cooked Pollo Con Mole is a convenient way to always have a ready to eat protein on hand. To heat, you can choose to either place the contents of the pouch in a pot and heat on the stove or microwave for 2 minutes. This makes the product ideal for a home, office, to take when camping and to include in an earthquake preparation kit. The finished dish had a delicious sauce that was sweet, smoky, and finished with a warm heat that remained on my palate. Sadly, the shredded chicken is tough and leathery. There are no fatty pieces of chicken thus reflecting that lean chicken meat was used. This meal was easy to pair with warm tortillas to make soft tacos or burritos depending on your mood. It would also pair well with brown or white rice to create a bowl. There are 3 servings per container with each 3/4 cup serving containing 270 Calories, 13g Total Fat, 21g Total Carbohydrate, and 18g Protein. The ingredients are clean, recognizable, and pronounceable including water, chicken meat, mole powder (corn flour, mulato pepper, ancho pepper, pasilla pepper, peanut, onion powder, garlic powder, cinnamon, cloves, ground black pepper, ground anise seed), brown sugar, chocolate (cocoa, sugar, cinnamon, soy lecithin), sesame seed, and salt. This is a Product of Mexico. The product that I received has a best by date of 6 months from the date that I received it. I loved the sauce but sadly, the chicken texture is not something that I am a fan of.

Fully Cooked Pollo con Mole
This review is for “ Isadora Fully Cooked Pollo con Mole 15 oz, Ready-to-eat, no refrigetarion needed”This was a quick and delicious meal in a time crunch. I heated this up in the microwave per the instruction and added it to the top is some cilantro rice, added some cheese and home grown sliced green onions. It was perfect, it really hit the spot. It’s not spicy at all. It has more of an earthy flavor. If you want to add heat you can add heat to your liking. This is great to have on hand for a fast meal, or if the power goes out, or to to take camping.
