These looked like reasonable idea: balls, get tumbled in the laundry, and pick up the lint tumbling with them. But they don't work like that. The worst collectors of lint and dog fur are my socks. These balls attach themselves to one sock and then rap it around themselves so that only one spot on the one sock gets cleared of lint. Then when you remove the socks from your laundry, you have to pick them out one by one to remove the stuck on balls. These are a lot like a Velcro burr from the woods. I do not recommend them.

I have two kitties, and their hair gets all over everything; one is chocolate, and one is white. I just toss these little balls, usually two, in the washing machine with my clothes and linen, and unbelievably they come out almost completely cat hair free. So far I’m loving these little balls. I will definitely be ordering more!

These come as a package of 12 small balls in a clear cellophane package. No label, no instructions. So, I came back to this page to read the directions here. Still not enough answers.How many to use at a time? I'm going with four, and just using in the dryer.They do collect hair, but they also embed themselves into certain articles of clothing. Emptying a load turns into a game of "find the lint balls" which is tougher because of their small size.The price was right, but I will probably end up trying a different product.

Don't waste your time or money. These little things just stick to your clothes, get lost, and just plain don't work.

Works well however does get tangled in dryer sheets

They are so small they got stuck in my socks making it take longer to fold my cloths having to look and find all of the balls. They may have worked collecting hair, if they weren't stuck in my socks.To me they were a waste of money and my time

I have 2 great pyrenees (look them up if you dont know what they are. Best dogs ever) that shed constantly. Figured I'd give this a shot since it was super cheap and it has made a big difference. Doesn't get everything but gets ahold of a lot of the hair. Gotta deal with a really noisy dryer but for me it's worth it.

Don’t recommend- I have a long haired dog and while it does collect hair, it is hard to remove the hair. Ended up throwing it away.
