Mine was broken
Broken brand-new in the box, would not power up. Looked and felt cheap and flimsy. Poor directions. Nice accessories, but would not re-order. I will look elsewhere.

Perfect for me
I found this selfie stick to be sturdy with a nice bulky strong handle. The short extension was steady and stable. It captured pictures and videos at a little wider range, portrait and landscape, than holding the phone myself. It was easy to use the functions with the opposite hand. I used a workout glove for sweaty hands. It did the job for me.

Not worth it
Does not work well. Connection for Bluetooth doesnโt work.

Simple stick
Don't like how you need an app to use it. The attachments are nice but using an app is a bummer because now I have to be on the app to use my phone not just connect and go.

Great option for a waterproof selfie stick
This isn't some cheap everyday run of the mill selfie stick; this is a high-quality photography stick. It even has an app that can be run with it to give it even more control of the camera in your phone. The pole itself is extendable and is made from aluminum giving it plenty of strength and reliability. There's 2 different 1/4' threaded posts on top in different positions depending on your needs, the whole thing is waterproof and has a companion case that goes with it for a whole setup. This is one of the nicest selfie sticks you are going to come across and I fully recommend it.

heavy duty - need app for smart phone - pairs easily - targeting adventure recording
This is an interesting extension on a selfie stick. Most that I have tried in the past were relatively lightweight (not this one). The others had a mechanical attachment to the phone - a small cable that needed to be plugged in. Most were very simple - push a button, take a photo. This is NOT one of them! The description gives you a bit of a clue - it is waterproof. It uses a wireless remote. Neither of those were the case with the 'old' selfie-sticks.So waterproof - you can take this device underwater to record your adventures (assuming your phone is waterproof or you have a waterproof enclosure for it). Given this, I am assuming that there is no issue using this in rain or snow. The wireless remote immediately had me thinking about a bluetooth connection. While this does support bluetooth, to take advantage of it, you do need to download the application (there is a QR code in the instruction BOOK - it is a book) to use it. The application allows you to not only take photos but record videos and even zoom in - all remotely.Because this is a wireless remote, the instruction book steps you through how to replace a battery (extra battery included). Because this process involves removing some cross-head (phillips) screws, there is a nice (not 1 use) screwdriver included. Also included are additional screws in case you misplace one replacing the battery. There is a small gear box included that contains a 'paracord' lanyard, carabiner, lighter weight lanyard. There is also a larger bright orange (waterproof?) storage bag that is the right size to store the stick and the gear bag as well as the instruction book.Above the handle/controls of the selfie stick is a place to attach a light (sold separately) for use in diving or night applications. The company also sells a waterproof case for different sized phones. As you would expect, the phone mount is also robust. There is a screw clamp (no spring clamps here) that tightly grips your phone so you won't use it while recording your adventures. There are two drawbacks to this device in my mind - first is the weight. This is not the lightest stick I have tried. Given it's target audience - people seeking to record their adventures, this is to be expected. The other drawback is that it extends only about 24". This is shorter than most sticks but it is understandable as a weight tradeoff. One other advantage of this is that it can operate as a bluetooth remote for your phone. While it is more noticeable than many controls, this will support all of the camera operations. You can use the application whether nor not the phone is attached to the stick.
