Bought this for my 11 year old son who loves hiding his cash all over our house. This now gives him comfort in knowing his stash is in his room on his bookshelf hiding in plain sight. Cool gift idea that he actually uses as he tends to forget he has cash when he wants something.

I wish the safe was larger

Gave this to my 10 yr old brother with cash in it for Christmas his attempt to stay excited over thinking he got an actual dictionary for Christmas was priceless and almost better than his excitement once he realized what it actually was and what was in it. Works well perfect for what I was looking for

Great way to hide some cash, jewelry, secret gifts or anything you wouldnt want to lose if you get burgled. Wish it was a little larger inside. But still a good buy. The pages really sell it.

This diversion book safe is good looking and fully functioning at keeping small items hidden, especially cash.Setting up the code for the safe is not too hard, but do make sure it's something you can remember, because it can only be reset from the inside. Now the size of the safe is relatively small, so it can only effectively store cash, cards and any other smaller valuables with in. The real paper pages do somewhat sell the look of it being a regular dictionary, but I think it would've been better if the pages were full pages with actual text on them rather than cut outs.Now the security of the safe is not too complex as it can be easily forced open with tools and/or with brute force; not only that, but it's also small and light weight and easily can be taken. However, since safe looks like a generic hardback dictionary, it can be easily placed in plain site with other books to hide it and the valuables it holds.Overall, this Dictionary Diversion Safe looks generic and average, which is good in this case, and is able to hold small valuables or cash. As long as the safe is not discovered by unwanted people, then it will do its job really well.

I was mindful of the size, but the dimensions don’t accurately disclose what can fit inside as the locking mechanism takes up a larger portion of the area within. But if the capacity weren’t an issue, the pages took real realistic and it’s very cool.(Update) The company reached out and helped me get a bigger one. Very much appreciated.

decent quality safe for a stash spot on a crowded bookshelf, but it stands out like a sore thumb anywhere a dictionary would typically actually be found and it has a fairly easy to break cam on the lock so i wouldn't trust it to store anything of real value. still, for a novelty stash box it is morenthan adequate and definitely requires a second or third glance to be noticed as a fake dictionary.

The storage capacity inside is extremely small, but it does the best job of looking absolutely ordinary in every way. It feels, looks, and weighs the same and passes the "He had it in his hands and set it down" test. With it's authentic book cover design, real thumbable book pages all the way around, and it's small size, All make this the perfect, boring old dictionary diversion on the planet. Word of advice: buy a real book jacket for it. After several hundred times opening and closing the cover, the seam will wear out and the spin will wear out.

era quello che cercavo, ottimo perchè le pagine sembrano quelle di un libro vero. Ovviamente non è da intendersi come cassaforte per i malintenzionati perchè troppo facile da scassinare e troppo facile da portare via tuttavia è eccezionale per un uso "familiare", per riservare piccoli oggetti personali ad un uso più privato. Non saprei, in un'ambiente condiviso universitario, dove semplicemente nessuno ruberà mai il libro ma al contempo nessuno saprà quanti soldi o cos'altro c'è dentro. Però se la vostra idea è quella di mimetizzare i vostri averi importanti tra gli altri libri agli occhi di potenziali malintenzionati fareste bene a trovare una soluzione più affidabile. Andiamo su, davvero c'è qualcuno che la testa gli dice di proteggere i soldi o l'oro in un oggetto del genere? Ma andaiamo daiiii! SVEGLIAAAAAA!!!!!
