Flimsy and Low Quality Materials
Bought this thinking it would be a great addition to my CRV but quality of materials feels flimsy and damaged from the corners. Also, added express delivery and arrived late for no reason. Waste of money

Functional, but looks kind of cheap.
The back windows of my CR-V are tinted (aren't they all?) so the actual utility of this isn't major. More likely than not, the windows already obscure what's in your cargo area, and the shade material might be enough to hold a couple of stuffed animals like in the picture, but not much else. The retention bar fits into the rear slots, but doesn't sit flush, so it looks like you've got a third-party product that fits but isn't quite right. The box didn't have much of anything as far as packaging goes, and no instructions, so if you're getting this for someone else, you'll probably want to point them to this page for the quick video, or put it in yourself.Really, the biggest positive I can come up with on this is that it's easy to remove, and didn't leave any marks.

Good cargo cover, seems to work just as well as OEM
I haven't had that much hands-on experience with the OEM cargo cover on the 2023 CR-V, but this one feels pretty solid. It clicks into place just like the OEM one and has a solid, durable top that matches as well. Ultimately, a cargo cover doesn't need to be perfect or super durable. In my mind, it just needs to work well when you need it, and tuck away easily when you don't. This works perfectly for that. The only issue I have, which is a general complaint with the CR-V, is that the cargo cover doesn't cover the gap between the seats and the trunk, since the seats have adjustable recline. There's a pointed gap between the cover and the back seats, which exists on the OEM cargo cover too, but can be fixed up with some velcro and fabric pretty easily.
