The media could not be loaded.  My kid chose this because it's 8 wheel drive. It really is just that. In our ball pit it does get traction and move unlike all of our other RCs. We have grave digger, hot wheels, drones and a host of other RCs.Initial charge time was 3 hours. Much longer than expected and ran for 27 min on the first battery. Also longer run time than our other RCs. This is powerful and medium fast. I definitely have 1 faster car that truly goes 25 mph and this does not.

Purchased RANFLY Amphibious Remote Control Car for my 5 year old nephew. Now this is probably a little over his skill level but he did just fine with it. We've run it hard for 3 days straight and it's holding up well. This really needs room to roam OUTSIDE. It's powerful 8 wheel drive will climb over anything! Really good battery life, and it came with 2 lithium battery packs which is plenty. This is plenty large (perhaps a little over a foot long?) and has good suspension. Doesn't have proportional turning so not smooth there, but it turns like a tank would. I think it's well-built and will take a beating. And it's plenty fast for my taste. Set up a ramp and obstacles for it to climb over. It's a beast!

The first impression when our son received this car for his birthday as: "WOW! a tank!" and in a way, this amphibious car behaves like one.Setting expectations about what you get, this car is big, it measures about a foot long and 8 inches wide. It is not super fast, but it has a lot of torque. It would climb through low curbs and brick tall steps. It can be run equally fun through dirt, grass, concrete or rain ponds on the side walks. The exterior clean up is not too bad. But you must definitely clean and dry the exterior before opening the battery compartment to swap it.This kit comes with two rechargeable battery packs. The charger that comes with the car uses a USB port and a special connector for the battery pack. Each battery fully charged can run the car for about 20 to 30 minutes. It depends on how fast is being run and how constant.Note that the wheels don't turn in order to steer the car, it spins the wheels for the side you want to turn faster so the "tank" steers in that direction, similar to the way a tractor or a tank would steer when equipped with tracks.

My 11-year old son asked for this as a present. He tried doing a lot of research by looking at different cars and videos of them in action, but we know the videos can sometimes be misleading, so we weren't sure how this would work. It works better than expected. It isn't as fast as some cars, but it's powerful, so it can go through a lawn with fairly tall grass and climb over obstacles much better than out other remote-control cars. It can also go on the water and through puddles which is great!

This is a really cool remote control vehicle that responds well to controls and can handle surprisingly rough surfaces. It’s fun to play with, but for maximum fun levels, this baby needs to have more speed! I’m constantly tryin to push it to the max and it really isn’t all that fast. And the battery dies quickly. Cool but needs some minor tweaks.

My wife gave me this for my birthday -- it was my first toy in quite some time and I loved it! It does great over tough terrain. I haven't tried it in our swimming pool yet because our labs would immediately go after it -- lol. The range is impressive, too. I stood on the porch and ran it out to our front gate which is around 200 feet. No problems. I didn't ask how much it cost but she said it was an inexpensive gift -- but it's worth a lot to me.

This is a fantastic RC truck for my boys. We have many RC cars and trucks over the past years. With all the wheels this has, it really allows it to move over rough areas of grass and/or dirt. It climbs up hills as well. Greatest RC truck so far.
