I got my battery box earlier than I expected. After reading some of the other reviews, I went thru the connections and mountings with a fine-tooth comb. NOTHING was loose. All the connections were solid and well done. The digits on the battery voltmeter are bright enough to see in broad daylight. It has plenty of room to add other devices and connections. The supplied strap holds tightly yet is easy to disconnect. I'm looking forward to using it on my pontoon boat this summer. I may be buying a second box for my wife's pontoon.

I took my battery box and set it up as a power source for portable ham radio operations and as a last measure for powering various devices by attaching a power inverter and a battery charger.I'm using a 50mAh Lithium Iron Oxide (LiFePo) battery so it's extremely lightweight. With the inverter, charger, and battery it weighs about 21 lbs!The battery power switch is only for the USB and car adapter ports on the side. The two main terminals on the front are always on.The Velcro strap that came with the box felt flimsy so I replaced with a wider and longer piece. I only replaced it due to the addition of the charger I've installed on the front.I wish there was a port for Anderson power poles that went to the battery so that I could utilize solar panels for charging the battery. I plan to install that later this year. This box makes it easy to modify and customize to your needs.

Updating it to 0 stars, being in sun plastic label melted, exposing outer part that has holes through the box, meaning all water will get on your internal batteryGreat box with 2 faster chargers than your newport box and also has two 12v outlets, thats amazing, better than others. 5 star

Si quieres usar esta caja con una bateria de 100 AH debes de conciderar que tienes que cambiar el cable de bateria por un calibre mas adecuado. La caja viene con un cable mas o menos calibre 8 y para manejar una bateria de 100AH necesitas un calibre calibre 2. Ademas, tienes que agregar fusibles o termomagneticos ya que la caja no viene con algun tipo de fusible y el no instalarlos pone en riesgo su uso.

Bought this for bank fishing to hook up lights and phone charger. It works great, I put two 35 amp hour mobility scooter batteries in it and it lasts all night and is still easy to carry. The only thing I don't like about it is the posts are wired straight to the battery with no switch or fuse unlike the usb and 12v round sockets are.

This battery box fit my 2 lithium lifePO4 50ah battery. Perfectly.

Too large, there was no intermediate size.

My 100 AH battery fits perfectly with room for a few accessories. It even includes a 500 watt inverter, which I didn’t realize when I ordered it. I had to order an adapter to adapt the UK/Ireland outlet to the USA standard. Very pleased with this purchase.
