Blasé Eau de Toilette Spray for Her 90 ml

Scents are funny things?Like a piece of music, they can suddenly whisk you back in time and conjure up mixed emotions.Last week, my memory cells were triggered as a tall stranger wafted by ~ her high heels clicking on the paving slabs and her wispy scarf ends swirling in the light breeze ~ taking with her the unmistakable scent of times gone by.As the stranger and her scent faded into the distance, my senses were confused!Could that really be Blase?'Max Factor, Blasé?Surely not?Long gone, like the slightly scary Max Factor cat with the string of pearls (?) which used to accompany some of their perfumes in a domed gift package, I seem to recall?A quick look on good old Amazon and there it was!* 'Blasé'Just one click was all it took...ordered there & then.Delivered the next day, impeccably packed for safe transit.OK, the packaging is maybe a little on the flimsy side by today's standards ~ the shaded shiny blue box measures around 17 cm x 4 cm x 7 cmInside is revealed a nicely shaped bottle that stands around 16 cm high. The base is 5.5 cm x 3.5 cm and the clear glass bottle tapers up to 3 cm x 2 cm at the top.The top needs quite a pull to release the first few times.It is a pale liquid.The Blasé logo is embossed in blue on the front of the bottle, along with 'EAU DE TOILETTE'(EdT).The base is simply marked with '90ml/3.06 fl. Oz.'The outfit is finished off with a shiny silver-coloured top with a blue plastic band.How do you describe Blasé? With great difficulty, but one thing is for certain......one spray was all it took and the ghosts of the past were finally laid to rest as it suddenly dawned on me that the fragrance actually reminded me of happy times (and not the supervisor at the local Bank, who made everyone's life a misery and used to wear this)!The official blurb:'As an ultimate lifestyle fragrance, Blasé is a stylish choice for the cosmopolitan woman. I found Blaze’ a bit underwhelming. I used to wear it years ago and remember it had a lovely smell and got compliments . But it didn’t smell as strong and it didn’t have longevity and faded very quickly.

I bought this as I has a perfume of the same name many years ago. This was not the same. I've kept it as an everyday cheapy perfume for everyday use.

This is my favourite perfume when I was growing up in the 70's. Whenever I wear it I am taken back to those days.Happily the fragrance is just the same now as it was then.Thrilled to still be able to buy it.
