I'm not sure where these other reviews are coming from.
I've had this for about two weeks now and to say I have been dissapointed would be an understatement.If your objective is to kill fruit flies then this actually works well, but all other flying annoyances happily ignore it.I had three flies in the kitchen (usual black kind), it was dark and I left this on for three hours and they did not go near it.In the bedroom the two mosquitoes that were there also decided to leave it alone and I had to deal with them with an electric tennis racket 2 hours later.So yeah, if you are hoping to kill anything other than fruit flies don't buy this.

Amazing mosquito killer
The media could not be loaded. This is amazing product mosquito killer. I love it . I am very fed up with flys and mosquito I see lots of near my fruit basket. When I bought this mosquito killer my life is easy . No flys and mosquito coming my home . It’s very helpful product. I recommend to all my friends to buy this once and see the results. I like it. I am happy to get this .

Fantastic!
We have been plagued with tiny black flies for months. We set up the zapper and less than a minute later, got the first crack. This continued all evening and we honestly could not believe how quickly it cleared the room of bugs.Fantastic product.

Does exactly what it needs to, so much I bought another one.
Good build quality and value for money. Purchased one for the kitchen and it so effective I purchased another for upstairs.It’s very bright and lights up the room at night.

Lamp/unit failed after less than a month
The media could not be loaded. Lamp/bulb failed within first month of use, without there being a clear replacement lamp option the unit is destined for the skip.Whilst it was working it was silent until a (fruit or black) fly landed, then there was quite a loud crack and spark. Having seen this it was surprising it didn't kill all flies though, when emptying the tray one or two appeared stunned only.

Bought this in August, and stopped working entirely in January.
