Vance & HinesPro Pipe Quiet Baffle 21906

Idle is clean and quiet. When you get on the throttle, it has a nice clean deep sound. Very satisfied. I hated the straight pipe that came on my bike.

Had to modify to fit but works great now.

Purchased this baffle in an attempt to get a little quieter sound than we you get from the factory baffle (it was really loud). Upon removal of the old baffle I found that the original wrap was a bit deteriorated which was probably the reason it was so loud (just purchased the bike). Removal of the old was a little difficult. Pretty much need a good slide hammer to get this out without removing the pipe from the bike and pounding out from the back. Anyway, got the old one out and the installation of the new one was quick and easy. From the moment it started it sounded better. It is still very loud when you crack the throttle but now able to get out of the neighborhood without shaking windows. And, once you hit cruising speed the sound levels off at a deep reasonable rumble. Would definitely recommend!

It was hard to remove the standard baffle bit the install of the quiet baffle was easy. The is a lot quieter but still has a deep rumble. I can tell there is some added torque.

$110 was way too much to pay for this cheaply made, poorly fitting silencer. I had to shorten the baffle, re-drill all three holes, and in the end, the spot welds holding the end cone broke after a few light taps with a mallet, so some of the matting shows through. It gets more than one star because I did make it work, and it does quiet down the exhaust.
