Fransen Futura Hair Straighteners Super Standard Wide Plate

I have thick coarse hair and have used this make of hair straightener for 15 years. Works just as well, often better, than big known brands twice the price

I have had a set of Fransen Futura straighteners for 15years now. Maybe more. I loved them so much I ordered a new set. The new design is not as good. They don't lie flat when you set them down, they tip over onto the side, the old set I had used to have a light go off when they were hot and ready to use. This set, the light stays on all the time so you have to guess when they are at the correct temperature.

Very disappointed with this, my third/fourth one over the years. it just doesn't work as well as the previous ones doesn't seem to get as hot. Tried to use the spring off it to fix my old one but they are different designs so no good to me unfortunately I've wasted my money.

Do not heat up properly. Take a while to get warm. Do not straighten hair. Wife had these from another source previously ( approximately 10 years ago) and they were fantastic but this new item is a waste of money!They do not grip the hair properly unless you pinch the end of the iron.They do not sit on a flat surface, they fall onto the side.

Love these straighteners!! Have used them on my extremely frizzy and curly hair for years. Nothing else comes near to these.

Bought to replace 10 year old set that combs had broken on. Work very well. Cord could do with being about 50cm longer for us and unfortunately they don't lay flat due to the rotating cable connection.

My last Futura cost me £80 2004I decided to buy some new ones because they were really tatty.Well happy with the price of my new ones... so let's see how long these last 😃
