It's that time of year when we are been plagued by mosquitos, and both me and my wife and our daughter are frequently waking up having been attached by the little blighters. We decided it's time to fight back, and so a bug zapper gadget was in order.When it arrived it was a little bigger than expected but it's a well made and durable looking thing. Plug into the main and leave in a suitable location (ours sits in the kitchen to get them as they come on-route from patio doors to our bedrooms) and turn it on and you are away. There's a nice blue glow at night to lure the critters in, and then fun starts.Basically this is a home version of the bigger versions you often see if cafes etc and it gives off the same satisfying pop as a mosquito get vaporised by it. The noise does mean you probably won't want to keep it on whilst in your bedroom at night whilst you are asleep, but it's fine if it's in another room (or if you are using it outside). Instead just plug it in for a couple of hours before you go to sleep and it will have worked it's magic by then.The sound is quite satisfying - it means you know it's doing it's job and each pop means that you will wake up without being covered in bites in the morning.Does it work though? Yes, it really does. Unscrew the bottom to empty it and you see the evidence for yourself. We tend to plug it in for a couple of hours before we go to bed.This has been well worth the money - a simple, effective and satisfying way to solve our mosquito bite woes!

We had an infestation of fruit flies in our kitchen. After using this, they have allGone!! Very good value for money, and would definitely recommend.

I was sceptical at first as the old fly zapper I had didn't work half the time but this one is great and powerful enough for sure. Handy loop on the top of it although you will need your own carabiner. Cable could be a bit longer too but it feels good quality, heavy plastic.

It zaps everything including vasps. Awesome invention

We we’re getting a lot of flies these days hence order this product, it works perfectly. No complaints so far I would recommend it.

Works well for 2 months then, it blows and is useless, 2nd 1 I bought, thought I’d give it a 2nd chance, but both only lasted 2 months and I only have a 1 month return window .
