Definitely not a kit for beginners.
Wish I'd read the reviews before buying this. This is definitely NOT a kit for beginners.It starts with a magic ring, without instruction. The magic ring is one of the most difficult things for a beginner to master.Also the hook is very small and the yarn easily separates - again adding to the difficulty.I'll be donating to charity, with a warning on its difficulty.I hope its buyer knows crochet.

Not suitable for beginners
I bought this for my 11 years old because it said it was suitable for beginners and children. The pictures show children however the description says adult (I since noticed since buying). This is much too hard for a beginner which both myself and daughter are. The video doesn’t help me feel confident to do it and the stitches in it are quite fast. The kit itself does look nice and the wool is soft so it probably makes a nice item. Unfortunately my daughter opened out the threads so I don’t feel I can return

If you don't know how to crochet then don't buy it, the instructions aren't for beginners.

Doesn’t come with everything
Got this kit so I could learn crochet for beginners, only to realise the eyes had no safety back to hold them in, ( not good )
