Definitely put the adhesive on the wall first. Ended up framing and it turned out well.

This mural was a piece of cake to put up! It is more beautiful than pictures! Used a premade tub of paste from Lowe’s, and pasted directly onto the wall. Mural lines up to itself, no overlapping. High quality vinyl and smoothly finished. I love it!!!
