Works amazing
After 3 years of doing the mandrel and hammer method my hands were tired. I wish I had purchased this sooner. It's heavy duty and has holes to bolt down somewhere. I do some really hard to form rings and this thing managed to handle them just fine.I will note the ring sizer that comes with it is off by a quarter size... keep that in mind. So a size 7 is really 6.75 I checked multiple rings on it with same results. But I didn't buy this for that so no biggie.

It works great!
I am using this ring bender to make spoon rings and it is working really well. It bends the silver spoons really easily, but the stainless steel spoons are a bit harder. I was able to bend a few really thick stainless ones, it just took a little elbow grease. It is built really well and I am not worried about it breaking at all. You really don't need to buy the other $300 ones, this cheeper one works great. The nylon dyes work really well and they don't mark up the ring at all. Over all I am super happy with it, I think it would be a great choice for anyone else too. (I would recommend taking it apart and greasing all of the moving parts before you use it. It helps it work smoother and last longer).

So far it's amazing!
I've been drooling over the superior ring bending tool from pepe for a long time but it's so freaking expensive! I took a chance on this one and although I've only had it about a month & haven't even bolted it down yet I've been pumping out shank after shank, heavy gauge, up to 6 gauge so far and none of the nylon pegs have even marred, let alone been destroyed, as that one reviewer mentioned. It came with an extra set of each size so when they do go there's a backup. The steel pegs leave marks on your metal not sure the point of them. Definitely test it with a base metal shank first. I would way rather have bought American made from pepe, but in this horrid economy I'm forced to cut corners and this is a quality tool. No idea what people are talking about with the handle, either. I've had zero issues. Don't hesitate, guys.

Broke after 2 months
Had this for 2 months and the handle just broke off with the threads in the bender so it’s now unusable, pretty disappointed. Worked nicely while it was together but disappointed.
