FIVE stars for AMAZON- NOT HP for profiting out the ink issue like other manufactories.Amazon did a great service on selling this genuine item at comparatively best price for the same quality as brick and block stores.Although as much I dislike manufactories ripping off consumers with the ink, I think that this product sold in Amazon is the best one you could use to install in your printer because other brands or refills did not worked with my HP multifunction J6480 design jet printer.This product was identified without problems as designed by HP to recognize it's products as to assure they are covered thus fix you in to buy (monopoly) their brand into your machine (HP call their machines despite that you paid to own the product).I recommend you to buy this cartridges as to be genuine and works flawlessly. The amount of pages that will it print of course will it depend how much data each page will have. Thus I think the quantity of pages printed is irrelevant in my case to say the least. But I know there's a XL size cartridge if you want more ink but in my case since I never print in color I only need this size to keep my machine working on black due to the fact that HP and other printers manufactory designed these machines to use just a pinch of color ink (HP75) every time you print black(HP74) whether you like or not and if the color cartridge(HP75) is not replaced once is empty(although never ask to print in color) the printer WILL NOT WORK.

Similar story to the black-and-white HP print cartridge-- They work fine, but you are paying a high price for a very small quantity of ink. I've tried other aftermarket cartridges and they just don't work. HP designs their printers so they won't recognize other cartridges. They've got you locked in to buying these expensive HP cartridges. Besides that, they're getting hard to find in local stores. My recommendation: if you've got an older printer that uses this type of cartridge, start looking for a new one from another manufacturer that uses less expensive ink. In my case, I needed a replacement right away so I was glad I could buy it from Amazon.

The New Cartridge I Purchased is Defective and will Not work. Upon comparing the OLD Cartridge to the NEW Cartridge you can clearly see a difference. 1 of the Rd. Electrical contact points is MISSING, so it will not work. It's DEFECTIVE. I have spent Hours of my time trying to get assistance with this problem and getting nowhere. Phone #'s for HP that are Listed on their Web Site are either disconnected or don't work, using the computer HELP just keeps running me around in Circles. Hp Manufactured/Sold a Defective Cartridge & will Not give any Customer Support to fix their Issue. Customer Looses - Big Company Wins.

I just opened the ink and put it into my printer but when i started printing to test the ink - everything is printing in only blue and pink, NO yellow. This was a disappointment considering how much I spent.
