Great habitat, why all the hate?
The media could not be loaded. I love this habitat for my guinea pig. It is only big enough for one guinea pig. We have a large male. Maybe it would be ok for two small ones. We take the ladder and second level off during the day. He never climbs up the ladder anyway. We open the side door every morning and he waddles out to say hello and have his veggies. I put a pee pad in his cubby and that’s here he goes potty. It’s very easy to clean. The cage assembly was extremely easy. Just a few screws. You’ll appreciate having an impact driver or regular hand drill as opposed to a manual screw driver. I find that it’s very sturdy, I mean - don’t sit on it. The wood type is pine Its soft, so don’t overdrill the screws I highly recommend.

not the best quality
bought 2 one had a broken frame around the window, BOTH have problems with attaching the bottom.. I had to rig them to make the bottoms stay attached. Bottom tray design needs work. Was told I could pay to return then was told they would refund the one with broken window frame and i could pay shipping to return the other. I never got the refund and I should not have to pay to ship back their defected products.

It's not good but it's not horrible
So I will say you do have to assemble it yourself but it comes with plenty of extra hardware which is nice but you definitely need a drill to put in the screws to prevent cracking the wood, it is also easy to clean and move around, but I've owned it less than 2 weeks and you can already see that the moisture from the air/animal is starting to warp the wood. They also say that this is for all sorts of animals but it is actually kind of small if you're planning on putting a guinea pig or a rabbit into it. But in the end I don't think it's worth the price that they're asking for

Poor assembly instructions
The assembly instructions were horrible and missed out steps. Luckily its pretty self explanatory. The Rabbit loves the cage and has found the only weak seam to pee on (next to the door).

Not for piggies
I was so excited to get this for my 2 guinea pigs. I was pleased when I put it together. But after a day, I realized it is just WAY too small. They are tumbling all over each other and only have about 2 feet of space. They are also eating it. I feel certain that if I were to leave them in there, they would eventually chew holes through to the outside. They're not using the ramp (and subsequently the loft) either - other than to gnosh on the ridges. I was also excited about the pull-out tray and thought it would be so easy to clean! But you can't pull the tray out when they're standing on it! So I have to clean from the top. And it got very messy very quickly, with so little room. So we are going back to the c&c type cage where they can roam more freely and be happy little potatoes again.I think this cage would be good for a smaller solo animal that doesn't chew or try to escape, though. It is very attractive and nicely made. The pine smells great.
