Pretty. but lighter than photo
Photo looked like a darker, deeper red. Was a little disappointed that it was more of a standard red. But I will say that this little inkwell came packed securely! It was wrapped in bubble wrap, put into a cardboard box surrounded with shredded paper, wrapped in paper, and put in a padded envelope! No breakage here!! Still a pretty little bottle.

Top does not close!!
The top of this container does not close tight!! This is an ink well!! Should close tightly!!

I love it, but...
I love this ink well, but the hinge came unsoldered from the cap. But I found I prefer it fully removed anyway, so works perfect. Holds an incredible amount of ink
