Q: Why do you put carrageenan in your pet foods when it is a known carcinogen?!!!!

Food grade carrageenan (Irish Moss) is safe to eat. Poligeenan is carcinogenic, and is not an ingredient listed in this cat food or any pet food I know of.

Q: How many cans are there? 24?

I think there is 12. But be aware they don't ship well most of the time these cans comes crushed. Anywhere from two to all are dented. They need to improve on that. When they do I'll start ordering again

Q: I feed my kitten the blue chicken flavor and salmon flavor, I want to get her try this one, do I need to mix it with old food the first day or no?

I don't know why. I only know my pet has stayed healthy and likes this food ! His fur feels better on it and he doesn't throw it up !
