I'm not one of the types who pampers his car, washing and waxing it incessantly and stressing over every mark. My vehicle is a tool of travel for me and I treat it accordingly. Engine and drive-train maintenance are my priorities, so I can be fairly confident that my vehicle will not leave me stranded. However, I decided to give this coating spray a shot, just to breathe a little life back into my usually weathered car. After a thorough wash, I somewhat followed the instructions for applying this, though by the end I was just applying the spray to the cloth I was using, and using that to apply it to the car finish. Once a section was well treated, I'd go behind with another clean microfiber cloth to buff and shine that section. "Rinse and repeat" for the entire vehicle and I was done. I did touch up a few spots that needed extra attention, but that was it. I didn't spend more than 10 minutes (likely much less) applying this coating.The results were immediately impressive, but I would expect that from any product in the category, otherwise the consumer would immediately return it for a refund. The shine was extremely improved from before applying this product. Getting at an angle to catch a glare, I also noted the reduction of the 'micro scratches' in the finish that contribute to a reduced luster. In short, I was impressed with the substantial improvement of the finish, and running my hand along it, the finish felt buttery smooth. Even two weeks later, I can still feel the difference in the finish and see the improvement in repelling dirt.I was so impressed that I treated my mother's car the following weekend and she loved it. For such a low impact application, this simply can't be beat. I'm from the old school of using a clay wax buffing compound and tediously rubbing those tiny circles all over the car, then buffing it once dry (flashbacks to the original Karate Kid movie). This product gave visually comparable results with less than a tenth of the work. I'll absolutely replace this bottle once I get low. Totally worth the cost and I can't complain with the results.

After cleaning and drying my bike, it looks pretty darn good. Adding a light layer of this spray coating, pumps of the sheen and provides a nice protective layer.Super simple to apply.

Nanoskin is a well respected name in the detailing community. They developed the synthetic clay mitt and cloth, revolutionizing the claying procedure.Until I saw this on Amazon, I was not aware they had branched out into coatings, so I was anxious to try it.As with any coating product, surface preparation is critical. Even if you aren't going to do a full paint correction, at least wash with a strip wash and clay the car first.Application is super easy. Spray it on a panel and wipe it in with a clean microfiber. Wait a few minutes and go over the coated area with a clean microfiber to lightly buff and knock down any high spots. Just go panel by panel until you've coated the car.. You can layer a second coat within 10 minutes, if desired.You can use this on wheels and plastic, too.I helped a friend apply this and the results were quite good in terms of gloss and water beading. Nanoskin says 6 months protection, but we applied it 5 months ago and it is sill performing well.This is a good product from an established manufacturer in a crowded market.

I wonder if these new style sprays simply fill in the gaps in the paint creating a smooth finish? A lot of manufacturers seem to be jumping on the bandwagon here. regular wash and polish now and then works just as well for me.

I was really hoping this turned out well and it ended up working better than I expected! - If you’re someone that loves to keep their car or bike looking like new this is the one! - I can’t tell you how many times I’ve finished and then had the sun catch my eye at an angle to see tons of light micro scratches - Makes all my hard work seem like a waste - Spraying this after a wash and watching those tiny scratches disappear is just the the winning ticket for me - 9.8/10

I have several nanoskin products and they have all been high quality and perform well. This is a very easy way to add the protection of a graphene ceramic coating without having to go through a long setup process. Very easy to just spray and wipe on and off. Coating did a very good job of repelling grime and water which means a longer period of time before you have to detail your car again. The bottle so far has lasted me a long time and a little bit goes a long way.

I recently tried a ceramic shield car coating, and my experience falls somewhere in the middle, earning it a three-star rating. On the positive side, the coating did provide a noticeable shine to my car's finish, and it initially seemed to enhance the paint's protection against minor scratches and road debris. Water also beaded up nicely on the surface, which was a plus.However, the longevity of the coating was a bit disappointing. Over time, it seemed to wear off faster than expected, especially in areas exposed to harsh weather conditions. This required more frequent reapplications than I had anticipated, making it less convenient and cost-effective. Additionally, the application process was somewhat labor-intensive and required meticulous attention to detail, which might not be suitable for everyone.
