Premier Housewares Viborg Round Bamboo Stool - Black

Bought these stools to use as bedside tables. They came flat packed and were very easy to put together. They look good and provide plenty of space to accommodate a small bedside lamp, book and coaster for bedtime drinks. Perfect for my spare bedroom without taking up too much room.

This product looks nice once assembled (very fiddle to assemble) but unfortunately it is neither very comfortable nor very sturdy. After only a few days of use the screws started to fall off one by one and after a few more the whole seat could be lifted off. We ended up having to glue the seat onto the base with wood glue as well as using the screws, so far it has been holding. Very frustrating tough when all you want is a functional little seat, would not recommend.

Not a bad product, although I might not have given 4 stars if I was wanting to use these as stools as they're not massively sturdy.I've bought two of the grey-topped ones to use as bedside tables. They fit perfectly as I've very limited space, and they look attractive. They were pretty easy to assemble, although one screw wouldn't go in and one leg split a little bit as the hole wasn't lined up very well. Not brilliant quality but ok for the price and for the purpose I needed. I would recommend as long as you don't need something that's going to take a lot of wear and tear.

Love these (I ordered two!) I have used them as guest room bedside tables. They look lovely and are the perfect size too.Easy to build, if not a little time consuming. I read on other reviews that others have found one of the screws (that goes into the base wasn't big enough). This appears to be the case at first but I believe it is just initially holding the base in place and once the rest is constructed it was very stable.Would definately recommend this product. Looks great and good quality. However I would say if you were planning to use them as a stool they would be great but I find them quite low!

..and to do a LOT of cursing while you try to assemble what is on the face of it such a simple item. I must’ve dropped the allen key two thousand times trying to tackle the screws for this thing, not helped by the screw holes being pre-drilled crazy tight and out of alignment, resulting in a poor finish when assembled (see photos.) Believe me this was not my incompetence - I tried everything to get the damn legs to screw into the base all the way with no gaps but it’s down to the bad drilling of the holes unfortunately. Add to that the splintering wood at the end of one leg (went into my thumb) and that one of the four screws that (very importantly) attaches the legs to the top just spun round and round in the hole without tightening, and I pretty much wished I hadn’t ordered it by the time I’d finished what should have been an easy job.I already have one of these and love it so ordered a second, but this one was way harder to assemble. I’m keeping it purely because of the way it will be used (as a small table in an inconspicuous area - I would NEVER trust this as a stool) otherwise I would not hesitate to return. The 3 stars are for being pleasing to look at and generally useful but that’s being very generous!

I like it but it lasted only about a month of very moderate usage until the seat broke off. Fixed it and glued the screws in. Seat broke off again after 2 more weeks.Parts don't have a close fit.Maybe it's intended for decorative purpose only?

Very poor quality, doesn't fit together properly and wood split
