This is a solid great holding tape. What is even better is the all metal tape dispenser it came with is great quality. It can be used on all tapes from masking tape on up. The tape is being used to repair old cardboard lawn Bowls boxes which are 12 in X 12 X 4 in tall that weigh about 12 lbs.

Thicker than most packing tapes and the added fiberglass strands makes the tape much stronger. The acrylic adhesive is pressure sensitive so rub it hard to make it stick better.

I sell precious metals over the internet. When packaging the coins and bars I sell, I know that they need to be completely sealed to avoid theft of the package's contents during its transit to my customers. With Bomei Bi-Directional Fiberglass Tape, there is a greatly reduced risk of easily tearing into the package and stealing its contents. Whoever opens my packages will need a sharp knife, some patience and enough time to cut through this remarkably strong tape; so, no rip-and-steal problems with my shipments. Because of its shear strength and cross threads, it can be difficult to use when taping up a package; and yet, that is the very reason I use the tape, ensuring my customers get the items they ordered.

I love the Scotch Extreme Strapping Tape, but it's expensive. I'm a small-time seller on ebay, and ship a few dozen packages a year. I pride myself in packing those boxes securely, and bi-directional fiber tape is the best, in my opinion. I bought this tape looking for a more economical version of the Scotch Extreme Tape.This tape is good, but the included dispenser is kind of junk. Some other reviewers commented that the dispenser doesn't cut well, but that hasn't been a problem in my experience. It cuts fine. The tape just doesn't stay on the dispenser well, it slides off the to the side, which causes the tape to not unroll well or get tangled up in the guide blocks.Maybe I can figure out a way to use the dispenser so that the tape doesn't slide off of it. More likely, I'll find a dispenser that works well with this tape.Conclusion: Great tape, junk dispenser.

Very good high quality strapping tape. Used for exterior package to reinforce box which was very heavy. Super sticky and dispenser was easier than using a knife to cut- priced right.

This is a good quality fiberglass reinforced tape. It has great adhesion properties and is quite strong. The adhesive is almost odor free which is a plus in my book since I got some tape once that burned my eyes with a strong odor. The tape came with a sheet metal dispenser, not cheap plastic like I got at Office Depot one time with a roll of tape. The dispenser has a sharp cutting edge that has no problem cutting the tape. The dispenser is a little awkward to use however, as the tape kept sliding off the holder while I was maneuvering the assembly to tape up a box. It should have a retention device of some sort built-in. I ended up using the tape the old fashioned way with my hands and a pair of scissors. That didn't bother me much. If you consider the dispenser an incidental bonus with a couple of rolls of good value reinforced tape, this is still a good deal.

My husband needs strong reinforcing tape for his stamp collection boxes. He usually uses regular sticky, messy packing tape but I convinced him to try the BOMEI fiberglass tape. He absolutely loved it! This reinforced packing tape comes with a dispenser and is easy to put on. My husband chose to reinforce one of his favorite boxes that was almost ready for the recycle bin. This box is the perfect size and hard to come by. He used about half of one roll of the BOMEI tape to reinforce the whole box! It doesn't look as nice as it did before, but he can use it again, and he was very impressed with the strength of this tape.The only downside is this product comes with two sets of tape. We could use another dozen!!

The BOMEI PACK Strapping Tape with Dispenser comes with 2 rolls of fibreglass reinforced packing tape.I am impressed with the strength of the tape which is well made. It sticks very well to the surface of the package being sealed. The 2” wide seems to be the perfect size for sealing boxes.I like the dispenser which works very well and keep the tape from sticking to itself. The teeth are very sharp and cut clean.Totally recommend.
