Only for un-edged material
These are very useful for use with sunshades, but not the kind of sunshade with edges or grommets. These will not clamp down over that kind of edge. It's got to be clipped to only the thin edge design sunshade material.

Don’t bother, these don’t stay clipped
The video and packaging wast great. I attempted to use them on 3 different sun shades. They were fine at first but the moment the sun started shining and they heated up they started popping open. I tried to reinforce them with zip ties but finally gave up and used the zip ties all on their own.

Quality control issues
Multiple clasps came with obvious defects, extra plastic, missing teeth. Clasps do not stay closed under tension.
