I wear woman's size 8 wide width would men's fit better than woman's?

I have a high arch, and as a result the part that fits between my toes rubs on top. will these work for me ?

I wear mens 10-11 and have a wider foot, Does the "M" stand for medium width?

what is the actual length of the size 11 from toe to heel? (I have a pair of Teva Flip flops whith legth of 12.2 inches and my normal size is 11)
