How long before it fades in the sun remains to be seen
Updated review:Well, after less than 12 months the cover is falling apart, casualty of everyday sun. This is pretty typical of every handrail cover I've tried. Still, it does really help to prevent bare metal burns on your hands. A cover here in Hawaii is a must.Original review:Living in Hawaii, we have a lot of sun. I've tried various pool handrail covers (both zippered and hoop and loop). I find that the hoop and loop types are work best, having no metal on metal contact with the handrail and easier to install and remove.It is nice that the manufacturer included 4 cable ties for securing the ends.Like most covers, it is a neoprene rubber with a fabric cover and looks good. How long it will hold up in daily sun and UV remains to be seen. Most of the covers I've tried make it about 6 months before fading in color.I've only had in installed for a couple of weeks, but so far it looks good.
