Sound is great! I was hesitant at first but when I plugged it in and linked it to the blue tooth on my phone the sound was amazing. Closest to Bose Wave that I have heard without the bose price. Aux hook up is great too. You can plug the provided aux cord to the headphone jack of any device and get clear room filling sound. Would definitely purchase again. The three different sound functions are great, Home, Party & Lounge, each has a distinctive sound difference creating a different ambiance to what ever the occasion or mood is set.

There's a reason it's getting five stars across the board from verified purchases. This thing is amazing. I had a Bose but I dropped it and didn't want to spend that kind of money again. I bought this with my fingers crossed. It was worth it. There is no doubt that this speaker, at half the cost, is competitive with Bose. Plus it really looks good too. The connection with the player or your phone is quick and easy. Had it completely set up and playing in under ten minutes. The sound is incredible.I just wanted to update after a year it's still fantastic. I came on the site to order another one for the upstairs bedroom. Holy cow. Fifty percent off! I ordered two. One for the bedroom and another as a Christmas gift. If you are looking for a speaker you would be NUTS to not catch this sale and grab one.

Wow. I didn't expect this speaker to put out as much sound as it does. The sound quality is really good, very well balanced. The eq is nice to have for fine tuning to the sound that you personally like. I am surprised how much bass this thing pumps out, really impressive. Bluetooth works great, remote is super handy, and again the sound is unbelievable. Hands down better than the Bose soundwave speakers. This speaker could sell for twice the price and it would still be a great price. Might buy another one. Highly recommend.

I’ve had this for about a week now and absolutely love it. The sound quality is amazing. Had it hooked up in my backyard while playing with my daughter on her swing set and the sound still was awesome. Bought my dad a Bose several years ago and thinks it sounds very equal in quality (would love to do a side by side test). Main reason I bought this was to use in my backyard at nights when we set up our movie projector and screen and have our own “drive-in” movies but haven’t had a chance to try that yet, thank you NW Pennsylvania weather lol. Once I get a chance to try it there I will update my review again but as of now I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase!Update 12-4-18. Have had this speaker for several months and still loving it! Used it as I said in our backyard for a movie night with my daughter and it worked awesome!Also, their customer support is fantastic. I misplaced my remote and they are sending me a new one, free of charge! Highly recommend this company!

Really like this speaker in every way...radio, sound quality, remote control. (UPDATE 4/4/2020) DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER. ONE YEAR WARRANTY???😩. Little less than year remote quite working. I only use at night in bedroom to go to sleep by playing mp3 music. I had this for 5 months before unboxing it after I moved to different home. I contacted BitsnBites 1 & even offered to buy a remote or 2. THEIR ONLY ANSWER was they don't have a remote but have I tried a universal remote.WHAT?? THE REMOTE IS SPECIFICLY DESIGNED FOR THIS UNIT. All they do is SELL THEIR STUFF!!!I even went to Soultechs website & sent email in their section for communicating & asked about purchasing 2 or 3 remotes? NO RESPONSE FROM THEM EITHER AFTER A MONTH! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT ...PERIOD. SAD TO SAY (AMAZON) HAS NOT RESPONDED EITHER!! Over last 7 years my wife & I have spent thousands of dollars shopping AMAZON & not had any problems. I guess we will have to consider all the other alternatives to shop!

The Brilliant Soul is what it is. That’s the best way to describe it. The unit has good features such as Bluetooth, adjustable bass and treble and an alarm clock. And it does sound pretty good given the price point. If you don’t need loud volume and are on a budget this could be a good choice. My only point I want to state emphatically is the it does not, nor will it ever in any universe, compare to the Bose Wave system iv. It just doesn’t. When it comes to quality, you’re not paying for the name Bose. You’re paying for the quality and the SOUND!! It’s night and day, apples and oranges. So bottom line is if you want decent sound and are on a budget, the Brilliant Soul is a good choice. It is. However know that you’re not going to get anything like the Bose Wave. $500 vs. $120. And there’s a reason for that. I hope this helps some.

If I was basing this review on sound quality alone, it would have gotten an enthusiastic five stars!However...Design flaw #1: I live in thunderstorm country. I routinely experience brief power outages during these storms. Well, the Brilliant-Soul unit ‘forgets’ its input setting (AUX, FM, BLUETOOTH) in these outages. After an outage, it always starts up in AUX mode, regardless of the previous setting. Annoying? You bet!Design flaw #2: I mainly use the unit in Bluetooth mode. Unfortunately, when it’s in ‘standby’ mode (the default after a few minutes of inactivity), a Bluetooth signal will NOT wake it up. I then have to use its on/off control, either on the unit itself or on the remote. (After that, I must say Bluetooth operation, from my Apple IOS devices, is flawless.) Again, annoying to me, maybe not for you!So... almost great, but not quite!

Upon reading all the comments I was tempted to buy one. I MAKE IT SHORT... Amazing better than my Bose Wave System. Though my Bose is 10 yrs old and still rocks, we'll see how this unit performs over time otherwise the sound is Amazing,nough said......update been rocking this thing at work day and night, tried all the setting and features and it's totally amazing with down tempo, jazz, chill music etc. And it serves as a power bank as it charges any device via USB port in the back.😊

Most of the speaker reviews that I read are judging the product for its bass performance. I can't disagree that full bass is important, but I also like to hear clear crisp highs (treble) as well. From rich full bass to the clear crisp sound of the drum cymbals, this one has it all. The best part is that it sounds great even at low volume, compared to most other units that emit only mid-range at low volume.I've downgraded my review of this product, because of the absolutely terrible owners' instructions (it's all printed on one sheet of folded paper). For example, I still haven't been able to pre-program selected radio stations, nor set the clock, both due to lack of instructions. Very poor on their part.

I usually buy EDIFIER or Kanto speakers...But.. this IS a Very EXCELLENT Clock Radio...I can even Bluetooth my SiriusXM satellite radio from the Front Living room to my Back Bedroom (25 feet)👍👍. READ THE MANUAL!!...But Still pretty much " Plug'n Play"Base CAN be Boomy... Trebles..Sharp..Just dial down.As for the " White Cable Issue"....it DOES Plug into the back of the Radio..NO ISSUES!!!..So PeoplePA-LEEZE..read the manual or Google.

Ideally I wanted the Bose model, but couldn't justify the cost. Overall I'd say it's acceptable - but not stellar. My complaints in order are 1. the user interface is cludgy and a pain, 2. the sound volume does not go low enough (volume level 1 isn't soft enough, especially if you want very light background music when going to sleep), and 3. the radio reception is crappy.With regards to #1 there are way too many buttons on the remote, for example multiple up/down arrows for different adjustments (alarms vs sleep mode vs setting clock vs volume) that could have been easily consolidated with a little more thought. The end result is that you find yourself wondering, 'ok how do I do this again', when it comes time to make and adjustment. To better illustrate the kind of thing I'm talking about, when you want to enable 'sleep mode' (how much time till it shuts off on its own), you have to press the sleep button - ok so far. But then INSTEAD of using one of the many up/down buttons to adjust the sleep timer, you have to continue to press the sleep button repeatedly to cycle through 90,80,70.. minutes (9 times to set it to 10 minutes). 90 minutes is also the arbitrary maximum. Just braindead and annoying.With regards #3 I found reception very poor. I live downtown in my city and very few FM stations are crystal clear.One last point that may relate to its long term durability. The cable arcs (sparks!) when plugging it it and out from the back (if you have the adapter plugged in the wall and then unplug it where it connects to the unit). This is easily avoidable, but makes me very skeptical with regards to the overall quality of the electrical engineering.One last final note - I am keeping the unit. Despite some of the annoyances it an ok compromise for the price. The sound is good, the bluetooth connectivity works well.

For the price is a great speaker. 3D audio is still lacking but there's little distortion at high volumes. If you want stereoscopic sound look elsewhere. For music this is great and it even has a built in FM radio tuner. Also works great when paired to a voice assistant.

Great product. Sound is awesome. I only use it hooked to the cable t.v. provider to listen to audio without having to turn on the t.v.
