Sturdy and leak proof
These bowls are actually better than the name brand bowls. They may be smaller but they are truly leak proof and very sturdy. I am about to purchase my second order.

Durable and a stable in my kitchen
Used a variety of disposable bowls and have found these to be of the best quality and very durable. They are my "go to" for disposable bowls.

Stood the test
The vendor says, "Large Bowl", I measure 4 5/8 inch across the inside top with a depth of 1 3/4 inches. They hold about 10 ounces to the ring just down from the top, and do hold a full 12 to the very top. Which in reality is a modern day serving. Not really large to me, but the serving size is correct. I tried putting cold zuchinni lasagna in one and microwaved till hot. No problem. I ate that bowlful and tried a second serving in the same bowl - no problem. I find that impressive for a "paper" bowl to endure two cycles of sticky wet food from fridge cold to piping hot and not show any signs of leakage. The second picture is the bottom of the bowl after the two servings were devoured, no bleed at all. I like the texture of the product, sort of coarse on the outside so that it creates friction when handling. It's not going to slip out of your hand like a slick surface. But the inside is somewhat slick and resists absorption of liquid. Best of all, when done, they fold flat and take minimal space in the trash, not springing back open like other disposable dinnerware. I do believe they will compost just as the manufacturer claims.

Disposable, compostable, or landfill-able?
If you're buying compostable bowls for a large gathering (as I do), please keep in mind that people still don't dispose of them as if they are going anywhere but to a landfill. I still buy them on principle, but can't claim to have kept anything out of the landfill.

small snack size
these are small bowls, like smaller than your normal paper bowls but perfect for kids and for adults who want to control portions. I use them all the time for fruit. Lately, i've been putting blueberries and blackberries in them and it's just the right size. If the bowl was any larger, I'm not sure i could finish the fruit. We had kids at our pool and we filled them up with Goldfish and it was the perfect size, no waste. They are sturdy because i do use them for fruit and it does not leak through and I let the bowl sit for a while before I finish all my fruit. This morning I put a cupcake in one and took it out to the deck with my coffee. I think if you never had this size before (and i didn't) you will find they are even more useful and less waste of food.

Way smaller than what I was expecting

Compostable but less sturdy than I hoped for
These bowls are alright. I had hoped that they would be a little more substantial. I had also hoped that they would be a little bit larger in terms of volume. I'll use what I have, but I won't rush to reorder these.
