So I changed brands on my auto deliveries. My other brand was going up again so I thought I would give these a try. The price is great, small, easy to swallow and I don’t notice any taste. This is just one a many supplements I order and I’m impressed with the quality.

I have ordered other Carlyle brand supplements and consider them quite good. I am impressed with their manufacturing standards, including their GMP facility. I am NOT impressed, however, with their container/closure system which appears to allow air and moisture to pass through the cap. The cap is not tight on this unit, and it was not tight on the first Carlyle supplement I ordered. It does NOT appear to meet USP standards for a tight closure system.Bottom Line: Good quality supplement. Suggest re-bottling in a “tight” container system to preserve the active ingredient.

These are actually 1,000 mcg pills, so if you just want to take one a day, this is a six month supply! This is the standard cyanocobalamin you find in basic multivitamins. Many people say methylcobalamin is better - more easily absorbed and more effective, but I'm still learning about all of this.These look like they would be chewable, which is common for B12, but they don't say that anywhere.The bottle is ridiculously oversized. The pills take up about 10% of the bottle volume. They are very, very thin, tiny, uncoated round tablets. Because they're uncoated and rattling around in an absolutely massive bottle, when you open it, a huge cloud of powder comes out. The cotton that takes up space in the bottle is clearly not enough to protect the pills during shipping.
