Fischer Meats, Beef Tenderloin Roast, 3 lb

This was an amazing tenderloin in every possible way. It was delivered in such a perfect way and already trimmed. I only had to make sure that I didn’t overcook it. I’ve been buying tenderloins for years but the cost got prohibitive so when I saw this on Amazon at that price I immediately ordered it but held my breath that it wouldn’t be as advertised. What a wonderful surprise to find it was the most delicious , tender and perfectly trimmed loin I’ve had in a long time. Wish I could afford to order one a month but my budget won’t allow it even though the price is very reasonable.,

The picture and what we received are completely different. The meat came nicely packaged but once we cut off the wrapping it was a 3 pound slab of mushy meat no firmness whatsoever.It has the texture of a water balloon. I hate going through the return/refund process so I will be throwing it away. The photo made it appear that it's a beautiful tenderloin when in fact what we got was a soggy slab of meat that had about 2 pounds of silver skin on it.Never again !

I did a sous vide with reverse sear on the entire roast., It was delicious, but I don't know why I was shocked to see it came neither trimmed nor tied. I had to do that myself. It isn't difficult, but it's time consuming. It was a great price, and now I know what adds to the basic price.

Not sure what grade this would have been, but it reasonably tender even though it was NOT at all marbled. Average.

Unless you can trim, portion, and use the “tail,”. This isn’t for you. But it worked for me. Got 10 steaks and enough scrapes to throw to the 3 dogs hovering around the butcher block and enough for beef tartare.

We cut these up into steaks and grilled them outside on the barbecue. We got about 8 steaks and any trimmings were used in soup. These were the best steaks we've had in years!

I ordered this tenderloin based upon the photograph and other reviews indicating the beef was oven ready. My tenderloin arrived neither trimmed, nor tied. Just a hunk of meat, 1/3 of which looked completely unusable as it is LOADED with fascia and fat. Very disappointing to say the least.

I was really Disappointed on how fatty this Tenderloin was.
