The best
Well made and designed, super tough ( squirrel teeth proof ) look great and the price is no dearer than the plastic type I’ve just thrown away. Top marks. Thank you.👍

Better than plastic
Dislike: that I had to buy two. It's not as if they were packed in one box, I received two boxes sellotaped together. My pension doesn't run to keeping two feeders topped up, it's hard enough with one, and if I fill both the starlings will come from miles around and empty them both in no time.Like: only the tube is plastic, and it is much stiffer plastic than in any previous similar feeders I have had. The rest is aluminium, not painted, and won't ever rust. The four ports are the right distance apart for sparrows, but any attempt to get four starlings on results in a mighty argument. Sadly it does seem deeply attractive to the starlings, who scatter the seed everywhere, so at least the sparrows can feed in the bush underneath with seed raining down all around them, if they so choose. The fact that I received the feeders yesterday afternoon, filled one, and it is now empty says it all.

Sturdy and smart
To early to say how they last but these seem well made and look the business. Recommended if you need to keep up with the Jones's!I've got one up alongside a larger plastic one and the birds seem to like both equally. As for cleaning, it doesn't seem as if the ports themselves are meant to come off (unless with a screwdriver inside the tube). My other plastic one comes completely apart. An alum key is supplied to unscrew other bits. This could be tricky for those with less nimble fingers. Also when fitting the base back on, I had trouble screwing in one of the perches and found it was a matter of lining up the holes with hairsbreadth accuracy. Had to unscrew the opposite number and move the base fractionally. I recommend only part screwing in the first perch before starting on the opposite number, so that the line up can be adjusted if necessary. My only other quibble is that I would have preferred the ports/perches to be better spread out. As it is, the 4 perches are quite close together over half way down the tube.

Good quality bird feeders.
These are very sturdy & they need to be as the squirrels give them a bashing.

Birds are happy
Very sturdy feeders, the perch and fitting are metal so are much more likely to deter our pesky squirrels. These are better value for money than the plastic perched feeders, they last longer too. Yes at first the birds find them very shiny, but they soon get used to them. Better value for money than the more known makes of bird feeder. I always completely strip the feeder down to wash it, so makes it a little fiddly to re-assemble, I just prefer to do it thoroughly, but I'm sure if you just wanted to steep in soapy water and go inside with a bottle brush it would give you a satisfactory clean result. I would recommend them:)

Well made, strong product which looks good aswell.
I use this to provide sunflower hearts for my garden birds. I had bought others elsewhere which clogged up and the seeds did not reach the access point but these ones work perfectly and the birds have easy access to their food. So far they have remained pretty clean and unmarked.

Magpies can get to these
At least the squirrels have not eaten these feeders as had issues with another brand, but when up in the garden it took a very short while for the local magpies to empty the whole feeder and leave nothing for the little birds, so not the best buy for me, they are sturdy and robust and fairly easy to clean,
