Good value and taste, one thing to be aware of, is the salt does grind and come out a lot faster than the pepper.

Is shown with silver label. Received both in bright orange. Good value and price point. The pepper appeared to have been opened and resealed. So I can only give four stars on this.

This was a gift and the person was happy to get it.

First off, this type of pepper is nothing like plain old, run of the mill black pepper. THIS pepper has FLAVOR. I refer to this type of pepper as 'Christmas Pepper' because it has greens and reds amongst the usual black and white peppercorns. I never knew pepper could be SOOO good till I tasted the medley of different types of peppercorns in this set.And for the salt, its Himalayan and that is my most used salt as its flavor is so very good.Newman's Own brand speaks for itself here. Top drawer and very good quality and you can't go wrong.The shakers aren't crazy big, but would be good to keep on a table as they aren't too tall. Also, you could gift these to anyone and turn them onto the pretty little multi-colored flavorful little peppercorns.I tell you the truth, I never use regular black pepper anymore because of this type of pepper.Enjoy!

The salt grinds well but the pepper does not. These are quite expensive for what you’re getting.

Loved the product. The only reason for 4 stars. It is very difficult to grind the pepper and for it to release. Not sure if the one I received is defective???I do recommend though.

Just as advertised, this kit includes both the Himalayan Salt and Peppercorn Variety in preloaded plastic grinders that are easy to use and ready to go as soon as they arrive. The grinders have a top plastic cap that pops off whenever you want to use the spices, which you can then place back on when storing them. The bottles each have rotating plastic grinders on the top that perfectly break up the salt and pepper when seasoning your food. As far as the seasonings go, the Himalayan salt is very sharp and bitter tasting (in a good way) that works great in enhancing the flavor of most foods, especially meats like burgers and steak by making the flavors more robust. However, what I really love is the Peppercorn Medley. The peppercorns have a bold, intense flavor that really helps to make foods more savory. It has a similar taste to classic black pepper but with much more warm notes and a more fresh taste. It's difficult to explain, but it is really good. Overall, if you want an excellent salt and pepper set that tastes fresh, then this is a great kit. I highly recommend it!

I had rated this a 5 when I first bought it but unfortunately after only two months of use and about a quarter of the bottle unused, have to drop it to a 1. It became harder and harder to turn the grinder until finally it just broke. Very disappointed.
