I'm recently disabled and I was so happy to find this at amazon! I'd gotten to use a similar unit at the rehab center, but could never find any at local drug &/or department stores. I made the mistake of ordering one online from another site that I won't mention... when I got that one it was not at all as pictured and was a total ripoff. THIS ONE IS GREAT. Ridged enough to do the job, but can be adjusted to fit your personal needs.I was so happy with the performance I went ahead and bought a second one to keep in the wife's car (I can't drive anymore due to the legs not working). I only write reviews If I feel that item can truly benefit someone with mobility issues, and this does.

The hand strap loop should be larger. Seems to be well made no other complaints. It is adequate but people with large hands will not appreciate the small hand loop. When you take it out of the box you will have to bend the loop for the foot open because this is rigid, (it has a literal wire that runs through it) so you may need help with that if you have issues with your hand strength. I would say the difficulty is moderate. The average person should have little trouble with that. Feels sturdy and if not abused should last a while.

This is the BEST thing to have after a knee replacement! It makes things so much easier to do. Whether it’s getting into bed, a car or even the shower! If you have to have surgery or if you have broken something, you need this! You will glad you bought it!

Had knee and hip replacement. Worked well for both to lift and move my leg around. Some thing everyone needs with both hip and knee replacement. Everyone get a walker after surgery and needs one of these also! Trust me buy one!!

My daughter has MS. This was too complicated for her to use. wanted to return it, but it was too late.

I am ever so thankful that I purchased this leg lift! I had a total hip replacement and i was seriously able to be totally independent when getting in and out of bed because of i purchased this.I highly, highly, highly recommend this if you are having surgery and need assistance in lifting your leg without assistance from another person. I kept saying, “Thank God i bought this” I’d give it 10 Stars if i could!!!!!!

After my last hip surgery I was taught to use a bed-sheet to lasso my leg and hoist it up on the bed or in the car. I have to have the other hip done soon and I think this tool will be perfect for the job! The shaft is rigid enough that I won't have to bend at a 45 degree angle to use ( requirement after surgery ). Who said you can't reinvent the mousetrap?

I found quality good.For me it was difficult to use due to my physical situation.

It helped my father who is on a wheelchair to lift his feet.
