I striped threads in engine block, this saved the day was very easy to use just be very slow using drill bit as it will grab go slow and light

My husband is a diesel tech, so whenever Vine has tools specific to his trade, I do not hesitate to order it. This one just happened to be exactly what he needed for an intake pipe of a 6.4. His only criticism was that the handle could be a bit bigger. The quality isn't the best for the long run as he said you have to use this tool a bit more delicately, which in a professional setting can be a hindrance. Overall though, it got the job done so he still recommends it especially considering the price.

UPDATE - Support service was on this asap and reached out and apologized for the quality and refunded me for the cost of the item. ORIGINAL message- The drill was dull only after a few minutes of drilling. The Tap cutting treads rolled over halfway through the hole causing the threads that were cut to strip out and the tap just fell out after ruining the treads. Not worth the money. I'm back to square one and not able to use the helicoil for the repair.
