Q: How would a drawer like this hold up with wet shoes in a snowy climate?

I would not recommend that. This furniture is not meant to get wet. It’s only good for inside use.

Q: Is this thing a real wood?

No. But I am satisfied with it. It isn't very deep so it doesn't take up much room.

Q: Do boots fit in this at all?

I honestly don’t think they would. I purchased this for my family and my brother is a size 11.5 in regular sneakers and his shoes don’t fit nor do thicker soled shoes. We found that it was best to just store shoes like vans, crocs, house slippers, etc.

Q: While putting together the shoe shelf, I found three screws are missing. How can I contact the seller to get a replacement of the parts?

That I am not sure about. I found the handles that came with the unit were pretty cheap, so I ended up going to Home Depot and buying better ones and they look much better. You should be able to find the screws you need in Home Depot if you bring a sample one with you.
