Works better than the cheap handle wand for OA treatment on beehive, I have to use a little more OA powder than before but it’s hard to over use OA, heats up fast on my U-sized-battery, burns off in about 5 min, I have to clean the tube with water after Bc the crystals form in the tube semi blocking it, I used this for 5 weeks 1x a week to help keep Verroa mites down.

Stopped up every single hive. Nipple too short to reach opening. Lid popped off even with 1 gram. Seems quite sturdy but huge fail for me.

The lid does not close tightly at all. Is this normal? It literally just sits inside the lip of the bowl, loosely. Someone had mention that they've had the lid blow off, so I just want to know if the lid is supposed to sit within the bowl securely.

This works fine. Tip needs to be cleaned after use but it's easy. For the price you can't go wrong. Save the bees.
