Great size but some key commands are difficult to remember..
...due to the compact format. Works great for my small desk and laptop setup. It also complements my Traktor DJ gear.

It's good.
Very compact. If you have big hands it will take some getting used to. I'm mistyping words as I write this very review. I'm a programmer and one thing that really bothers me is that backticks (`) and arrow keys require holding FN. It's very distracting, but not a deal breaker. I don't know that I would have designed it differently as a compact keyboard.I was hoping to be able to use macros too but the macro keys do absolutely nothing as far as I can tell, using on a Linux system.Pros: RGB backlighting with cool settings, nice feedback from the red switches, cheap cheap cheap. Don't expect perfection, but all in all it is a very good keyboard for the money.

Great mechanical keyboard, excellent clickiness/loudness balance, full RGB but can't configure it.
I usually play some video games from a bean in front of the TV, which I use as a monitor for my gaming PC. So, I place the keyboard on my lap and there is not much space. I've always used compact keyboards like the Logitech K810. Once it died, I decided to try a mechanical keyboard, old-school style. This keyboard takes up half of the space of a full-sized keyboard and fits perfectly on my lap. It has mechanical switches and full RGB backlighting. I usually prefer to play games at night without turning on any lights, and thanks to the backlit it's easy to see the keys. The mechanical Gaterron key switches feel sooo good and so much better for my finger that I can't forgive myself for not switching to it earlier. It's a "clicky" keyboard though and everyone around would hear you typing (my wife now complains when I play together with her in headset lol) but it provides excellent tactile feedback. I'd say it's not too "clicky" and has a good balance between annoying other people and giving you keypress feedback. And I especially want to note that it's fully modular. You can hot swap any of the switches for other types and configure or upgrade as you like. All the keycaps are also replaceable. Pullers for key caps and switches are included with the keyboard. My main problem with it right now is the lack of dedicated arrow keys. I love the compactness of this keyboard but, god, it's a pain to press the "FN" key every time I need to use the arrow key and I use them a lot. I wish I could just make these keys function as arrows without needing to press the "FN" key, but I can't figure out how. Also, the description says "Fully Programmable" but I can't find any software for it to program keys and backlight. Neither description on the Amazon product page has anything about it, nor the included user manual (it's 1 page only with basically zero information at all), nor the manufacturer website has it. Actually, the manufacturer's website does not even list this keyboard model at all!Let's summarize. As mentioned, the compact size and lighting are great in this keyboard. It comes with a 5.9 ft USB-A to USB-C detachable cable, which is too short for my setup, so I'll be getting a longer cable. The Red Gaterron KS-9 mechanical switches are fine and provide a good balance between loudness and clickiness. The frame is plastic, not metal, but it has no flex and is quite heavy. The keycaps are decent and can be easily removed with the included puller. There are certainly better quality mechanical keyboards out there, but at this price point you wouldn't find another with all the features of this one. I have no hesitation in recommending this to my friends.*** TL;DR ***Yep, clearly, I recommend it. I like it very much. I'm not a pro-gamer but switching from a "normal" keyboard to mechanical feels great and I love it. The keyboard is well made, uses top-of-the-line Gaterron switches, very modular, and full RGB backlit. I just don't like the short USB cable (minor), useless manual, and complete absence of any information about software for configuring its keys and backlit effects. You probably don't want to use it as your primary keyboard just because many of your frequently used keys would require pressing the "FN" key together that would slow you down, but for gaming setup where space is limited it's perfect! 5 stars.+++ Pros +++1) Very well made.2) The flame is solid, no flex.3) Gaterron switches for the win!4) Great tactile feedback.5) Full RGB backlit keys.6) Takes up only 60% of space.7) Hot-swappable and upgradable switches.8) Modular design, keys can be easily replaced.9) Keys are not too loud.--- Cons ---1) USB cable is too short for my needs.2) Useless 1-page user manual included instead of the normal guide.3) Can't find software to configure backlit.4) Many keys are "combined" and require pressing "FN".

Small and compact yet still has backlighting and mechanical switches.
My main keyboard is a Corsair K95, which is wonderful but takes up lots of deskspace. In contrast this keyboard takes up 1/3 as much space, yet has many of its best features; RGB lighting and mechanical switches. It is perfect as a "side keyboard" for my mid-2011 iMac located to the left of my main desktop's screen. This keyboard replaces a wired Apple keyboard without crowding my desk, and can be more easily seen thanks to the backlit keys. The printing on the keycaps is a bit crowded compared to those of my K95, since many have dual purpose. Even so, there main function is the prominent symbol. I find my main struggle is the lack of dedicated arrow keys; they must be pair with the "fn" key. The Apple keyboard has dedicated brightness keys in the top row (mapping to F14 and F15), which I had hoped mapped to the two keys with a similar symbol to the left of the CR on this keyboard. Unfortunately those are special purpose mappings (for keyboard lighting speed), as are the the ones in the row above. Eventually I figured out that the "ScrLk" and "Pause" keys are what map to F14 and F15. Being non-intuitive, I re-mapped them thru the Mac's System Prefs ( Keyboard->Shortcuts->Display ) to be F1 and F2, which are the same keys I'm use to using, but since those keys are shared with the numbers, there is now a need to press the "Fn" key too. Certainly a workable solution, and a great keyboard for Windows, but also for macOS. I would probably not want to use it as my primary keyboard, only because so many of the keys I use frequently are shared and that would slow me down, but for gaming where space is tight this would work well.Final thoughts: As mentioned the compact size, and lighting are great. It comes with a 5.9 foot USB-B to USB-C (removable) cable. So if needed you could swap it for something longer or shorter. The red Gaterron ks-9-mechanical switches seem fine, though I would have prefered a slightly more clicky, Cherry MX blue or brown switch. The frame is plastic, yet has no flex and is fairly heavy. The key caps are of decent quality, and can be removed with the included puller, to swap or clean. There are certainly better quality mechanical keyboards out there, just none I've seen that are so compact, with such nice features, and at such a reasonable price point. I would not-hesitate to recommend this to a friend who has similar needs as mine.

compact but suffers from its size
Pros - very compact, this is the smallest keyboard I've owned.Cons - Keyboard came with barely any instructions. It tells you what the color setting symbols are but that's it. If you want to change the color settings, you need to hold the FN key while doing it.Biggest con is for the F10 keys, the arrow keys, and any special buttons besides letters, you need to hold the FN key in order to use them, which is pretty annoying. So if you wanted to CRTL-ALT-DEL to bring up task manager while in game, you would have to HOLD FN-CRTL-ALT-DEL. I also feel like the keys are a little soft when it comes to mechanical keyboards and doesn't feel responsive, even though it is.Its compact, however I feel like the design suffers from how compact it is.Personally would go with a different option for mechanical keyboards.
