I gave these toy animals to my grandkids along with nerf guns. They set up their own shooting gallery, for hours of fun and competition.

They are exactly what I needed and are just the right size. My only issue is that there is a red panda and an okapi in there. Lol

I liked the size of these animals - they were a little bigger than I expected. Most are bigger than the cheap multi pack of animals that come in a plastic tube. The smallest is maybe 2" tops, the biggest is maybe 4". And they could all balance when stood on a flat surface. I had to bend one of the fawns legs a smidge, but then even that one could stand.Cons - one of the bucks' antlers were bent backwards at an odd angle. And the wolf's face looks a little strange if you look at it head on. Their legs are fairly strong, but still have a little flex to them, so they could degrade with rough use. The plastic also feels a little rougher to the touch than name-brand toy animals. (Also - these are not all proportional to each other. But the deer family is, so that's a pro, not a con.)Fun fact: the Buck with the bent antler was anatomically correct. Not sure if that's a pro or a con.

These animals were just right to add to my classroom’s block area. They are sturdy and nicely made.

The four year old I bought these for had fun playing with this set of animals. We need to get some more with different animals to complement it. They are very well made. And as other have said they are very nicely packaged. They all stand up very nicely and seem pretty realistic. Although we thought the one referenced as a squirrel looked more like a beaver. We could not find any reference on google for the one labeled Little Hagobi. Would like more info on what that animal is and where is it is is from. Inquiring little minds want to know.

These Scahow plastic Animal Kingdom animals -- ten in all -- arrive in a plain plastic bag with a "Made in China" sticker.In addition to the large bag, each animal is individually wrapped in plastic. Five of them also have cardboard between their legs. I suppose that's to prevent damage to their legs during shipment.The sizes are not to scale. For example, the beaver is taller than the bear.The marketing for this product says these animals are hand-painted. They do look nice. And they feel sturdy. They are bigger than most plastic animals.These animals make for fun children's toys (I had a large collection as a child), but are also a nice addition to those who collect plastic animals. Some day, these might be vintage.

These forest animals are a good value for the cost. The product description on Amazon is accurate and genuinely reflects this product. Ten different animals from widely different areas of the world make up this collection. Although the painting is acceptable overall, there are some issues with the eyes and faces. For the purist, this corrects quickly with a bit of plastic-friendly paint remover, model paint, and a micro brush. These are accurate enough for dioramas at museums, public displays, model train buffs, and model builders. They are not scaled realistically and do not fit any model building and railroading scales.These would make good presents for children ages six up to Grandfather age. These forest animals are great for playing with, as cake toppers, party decorations, and trinkets. On the active side, they are small enough to make challenging soft pellet gun targets, are knocked over readily by the small soft pellets, and are durable enough to take the abuse. They arrived in two days and without any problems. I would get these again.
