They’re designed as little pieces of Swiss cheese, meaning they have little holes carved into them. Consequently, it’s unknown whether the dice are weighted evenly and properly. So, while they’re probably fine for ordinary play, they would and should be prohibited for wagering for anything tangible or for money.The font of the engraved numbers is a little too large relative to the size of the die face, especially for the D6, D8, and D10. There should be a balancing amount of white space or background, so the font doesn’t overpower its own aesthetic. Nevertheless, it makes reading the dice easy.The set doesn’t include a proper carrying bag. The dice came in a zip lock bag, which won’t be that durable over time. While it would have added to the cost to include a carrying bag, it would also have added to the set’s value.At USD $15.99 the set is probably reasonably priced. As of the date of this review, there is a 15% coupon (making the price around USD $13.59), which makes a purchase a better buy. Moreover, the coupon is sort of a psychological framing to create the impression of a better deal, but the discounted price is probably closer to the set’s true value.Thus, the dice set is recommended. It would be a fun addition to just about any gaming session.

These cheese themed dice are a delight to hold and look at, but my set arrived with two d6's and no d8 (probably a fluke), and I would be shocked if they're remotely balanced. For example, the 6 on the d6 has tons of cheesy holes on it, making it light, while the opposite 1 side has far fewer, despite the 1 being less hole than the 6, which means it's going to roll 6 way more often than 1. So, I'm glad to own these just for the novelty, but I won't be playing any games with them.

These are the dice you'll need. I kind of wondered if the chips and holes would hinder the rolls and throws, but they actually work just fine. I'm definitely pulling them out for my sillier games. They're as well made as any other dice, and these are just plain fun!
