These are expensive for what they are, but I love them. I let the syrup drain to reduce the sugar and make my own version of boba tea at home.

I love this item. At first when I opened the box it came in I thought that it didn't look like it had many bubbles in it and it was mostly liquid. Boy was I wrong. Plenty of bubbles so you can make a perfect bubble tea at home. They give your milk tea just the right sweetness. The bubbles are not hard nor are they mushy. Just the right bite so your tea is enjoyable. All that at a good price. I will definitely purchase again.

I like the fact that you don’t have to cook it,but it only stays good for 2 weeks after you open it

When these arrived, it looked like a bag with only a few melted, very thin boba discs (not balls). It was a cool day, so I was concerned. I put them in my cupboard until today, about a week later. It turns out it was an optical illusion or something, because the balls were fine. Heck, even the bag looked fuller, although they still looked more like flat round discs than jelly balls. Anyhow, I know they didn’t spontaneously generate in there, so I’m not sure why it looked so empty before.I opened it up, still expecting to be disappointed with flat little circles. I was shocked to see real crystal boba. They’re small and look homemade, exactly how I like it. They come floating in a sugary syrup, so if you’re not fond of the extra syrup, just rinse them off. Not only are they perfect crystal boba like you’d find at your local boba shop, but there are a LOT in here. Like enough for 50+ glasses of tea.I do wish these were packaged in a resealable plastic or glass jar instead of the bag. For one, it would eliminate the illusion created by the bag of these being flat discs. Secondly, it’s a lot easier to store them that way! I wasn’t about to use the whole bag at once, so pulled out what I needed, portioned some more into a small container, and used my vacuum sealer to reseal the remainder in the bag.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this product. Making boba at home is new to me, but I liked the idea, so I decided to give it a try. When this product arrived, the packaging took me aback despite being accurate to the photos. In my mind, the boba balls would be loose and dry, perhaps expanding and softening once they were in the beverage. Instead, these are already in syrup. A few spoons full went a surprisingly long way. The boba balls do sink to the bottom of the cup, but I guess this is normal. I very much wish I owned a bigger straw because the ones can’t accommodate the boba.The flavor is good, though it’s far from healthy food. The boba balls are a bit firmer than I expected, but I’m not widely studied on boba balls, and I think they are in the range of expectations. The boba syrup blended into my test beverage nicely.Overall, I think this is a very good product and I am pleased with it.
