Sturdy and comfortable booster seat
Bought this for my 3.5-year-old. Fitted perfectly in my ecosport rear seat ISOFIT. The seat was easy to assemble, lightweight and has quality look and feel. Attaching/detaching this from the car is a breeze. My daughter loved it, she needs to be trained to sit with seatbelt put on.

My child really likes this seat. He’s very comfortable in it. Only issue is that when he sleeps in it, his head keeps coming forward.

My favorite car seat!
WOW I love this car seat! We have 3 kids (5, 3, 1) and have owned 11 car seats. This is our first Graco - we’ve owned/own seats from Chicco, Clek, Safety First, Maxi Cosi and Diono. I’ve installed varying combinations of these seats in over 10 cars, including our vehicles, grandparent vehicles and rental cars. This is my favorite car seat and here’s why:- IT’S (comparatively) EASY TO INSTALL. All car seats are a pain to install but this is actually one of the easiest seats I’ve installed. The level is easy to read, so you know you’ll get the angle right. The way they’ve set up the LATCH straps means it’s unlikely you’ll get them twisted. I have no explanation as to why, but I installed it tightly on the first try, which never happens (even with the seats I know really well and have been installing for years).- IT’S COMMON. This is important for anyone that does run into trouble installing: because this seat is so common, it’s easy to find dozens of how-to videos on YouTube that will walk you through the installation and help you troubleshoot any issues.- HIGH REAR-FACING WEIGHT LIMIT. This is probably why most folks buy this seat and it was certainly a selling factor for us. The 50lb rear-facing weight limit means all 3 of my kids can rear face in this seat.- HIGH WEIGHT LIMIT FOR LATCH. This isn’t something I even paid attention to until my kids got older and it’s important! You can use LATCH to install this seat up to 45lbs!!! All of our other seats only allow LATCH up to 30 or 35lbs, which means we have to switch to seat belt installation. It’s not a huge deal but it’s a pain because you have to remember to switch the installation when your child gets over the limit (and actually remember the limit). I prefer LATCH installation so I’m thrilled we get to use LATCH install for almost as long as we can rear-face.- NO RETHREAD HARNESS! This is huge. Kids grow fast and it is a massive pain to uninstall and reinstall car seats when you need to adjust the straps. With this seat, you can just adjust the headrest without removing the entire car seat. I love it!!- IT’S GREAT FOR TALL PARENTS! My husband is 6’5” and all of our rear facing seats have required him to move up his seat when driving... except this one! In one of the photos, you can see the Graco Extend2Fit is installed rear-facing next to Clek Foonf (also rear-facing). The Clek takes up substantially more space front-to-back than the Graco, which surprised me because our Clek takes up less space front-to-back than our other rear-facing car seats. Not only can my husband adjust his seat the way he likes, he’s got leg room to spare!- IT’S AFFORDABLE. Even if it didn’t have all these other great features, it’s one of (if not the most) cost effective car seats for rear-facing to 50lbs. Now that I own one, I think it’s a total steal of a deal!- IT HAS 2 GREAT CUP HOLDERS. I was worried because one of the comments on here claimed that no cups fit in the cup holders. Our child’s water bottle fits just fine. It’s snug but I prefer that because it won’t annoyingly rattle around when we’re driving. I like that there are two cup holders because kiddo can keep toys in the other one.- IT HAS A WASHABLE COVER. Just like installation, all car seat covers are a pain to remove and wash. I think all of our car seats have been thrown up on (usually in the middle of nowhere when we have nothing to clean them up) so I have a lot of experience in this area. Removing the Graco cover is just as easy to remove as other seats. It’s not as easy to remove as the Chicco Zip line but we don’t have to wash the cover so frequently that I feel like I need that feature.- IT HAS A PLACE TO STORE THE BUCKLES. Not all car seats have this and it’s one of my favorite features: there is a nice place to put the buckles so that it’s a little bit easier to buckle kiddo next time because they aren’t sitting in the buckles when they get into the seat. It’s a small thing but I love it.- IT ISN'T OVERLY HEAVY. I can barely lift our Clek because it’s so heavy. The Graco is certainly sturdy but I can still move it.Here is why we didn’t buy it sooner (aka downsides):- IT’S TOO WIDE TO DO 3 ACROSS. Maybe there is a specific configuration that can make this work but we couldn’t. Our Diono and Clek easily allow us to fit 3 kids across the backseat. We got the Graco because we finally bought a minivan and didn’t have to fit 3 kids in the same row. Obviously this isn’t a factor for smaller families or families with larger vehicles.- THE OVERALL APPEARANCE IS MEDIOCRE. It certainly isn’t ugly but many other car seats on the market are more attractive. I also wish the straps weren’t visible on the back. The pros of this seat far outweigh the cons. I absolutely love this seat and I’ve recommended it to everyone that’s asked about it since we’ve purchased it. I’m really impressed by the features.

Great Car seat
I was in market for a new car seat due to my daughters increasing age and her old car seat being cumbersome. I had always thought that the high back booster seats started at 4 years and 40 lbs. I was pleased to see this one starting at 3 years and 30 lbs.I read the reviews and did my research. The main negative points seemed to stem from only 1 latch and having a wiggle space of 5 inches without the seat belt attached. From that point of view I could understand that the car seat would be over priced for a latch system that does not seem to do its job. Despite this I decided to take a risk and buy the car seat (mostly because I was so tired of lugging the car seat we currently had lol). The product arrived promptly. It did not come in any extra packaging save its original box. Box was in relatively good condition. The product instructions were easy to understand and easy to set up.Size was just right for its intended purpose fitting well in a mid size sedan as not being too big or too small. The fabric was soft to the touch and my daughter quickly proclaimed it to be comfortable. The side impact safety indicators were a definite plus but did not overly wrap around my daughter. My daughter especially liked the cup holder and "secret" drawer she found on the car seat. I obviously did not have the heart to tell her it was designed that way. ^_^As far as the latch system, I noticed right away there were 2 latches on the back. it has a push button release on the front to give the latches slack to easily attach the latches to the car. The pull strap on the front quickly and easily pulls the car seat snug to the seat. I did not find any appreciable give to the car seat on a wiggle test. The use of the belt buckle has its ups and downs. My daughter found it quite exciting to use the seat belt like mommy and daddy. However with the sides and the armrests designed the way they are it is next to impossible for her to buckle her self at the moment. I realize its not a big problem, but it is worth mentioning. All in all I found this seat to be easy to set up and install. My daughter is enjoying "growing up into a new seat" and the car seat looks a bit more stylish as car seats go. Other than my daughter being able to buckle herself in, the only negative thing I found was the back is unstable without a support surface. This is to say if you sat the seat on the ground with nothing behind it, and your child sat down AND leaned back into the chair, the chair easily gives way to reclining to a flat position. I realize this not its intended purpose. I realize that it is designed that way for ease to recline the chair and remove the high back when needing to. I even realize that in its intended purpose as a car seat, the seat gives it the support and there is no danger of the back reclining back. I only mention this because I was eager for my daughter to try the chair after setting it up and quickly had to catch the back of the seat before she fell back. I admit to being at fault, but I still deem it as a negative in my view lol.

Latch system works great!!!
First off, the main reason I am writing this review is to defend the latch system. Prior to purchasing this seat I read several reviews dinging the latch system for only tightening fully on one side, leaving the other with a little slack. Since this was really the only negative I read i decided to purchase and see for myself. Just as I suspected there are 2 overlapping pulls on the front of the base. If you pull them individually they each tighten a latch. One tightens the left and one tightens the right. So...the seat is tightly tethered on both sides. I am assuming most people that are complaining are pulling the straps simultaneously since they are on top of each other. This is the best system. Other system Ive had to tight the latches from the back and then when wanting to unlatch loosening them from the back to get enough slack was a pain. All of this is simply done from the front system and a push of a button loosens them. Im not one to read instructions...I get anxious and just start putting things together. It was easy to assemble and figuring out the latch system on the fly was easy too. But one thing, if your like me and dont pull out the instructions right away, a small tip...the cup holder needs to be attached and it is stored under the base of the seat. I looked in the box for a bit and thought something was left out. But I found it.I purchased 2 other seats this week prior to settling on this one. I bought a Harmony and 2 days later returned it because the cup holders are right under the armrest. Made it impossible for my son to fit his taller sippy cups. A starbucks Grande water cup wouldnt fit either. I couldnt have that so I exchanged it for an evenflo Big Kid Advanced booster in Luca. that seat smelled like cat urine. We put it in the car and the next day the entire car smelled. Gone!! So third times a charm for sure. Super happy with this seat. Looks great, its comfortable, there is a cup holder for taller drinks, a storage cubby, doesnt smell and best of all..... an easy to use, secure latch system.

Easy to assemble and use, but you get what you pay for
This booster came needing to be assembled, which was an easy process when following the directions. Once together, I really like the design that does not require rethreading when adjusting the back of the seat's height. This is one of my favorite things about Graco - they are considerate to making the carseat process as simple and quick as possible. Once assembled, I placed it in my husband's truck (as this is a secondary carseat for my son, not the primary). The process was very quick and easy to get a secure lock. My son sat in it to test comfort, height adjustment, and to toy around with the idea of the seatbelt (he is still harnessed in the booster transformer I have in my car). The seatbelt has good placement in all areas and seems to fit securely, but also comfortably for my son.Things I do not care for as much, though:The red ring on either side of the upper neck, lower ear area of the carseat is made to where it is too easy for my son to pull the seatbelt to buckle himself in and pull the seatbelt out of that loop. I wish there was a more secure fit here because that will be a worry every time he buckles and potentially a hassle to fix if I am seated upfront before noticing the issue. The booster's padding is not as thick around the head as it is on other carseats I own (all Graco brand). The head area's padding feels flimsy in comparison to the other, better carseats we have purchased and used for years from Graco.Final takeaway: We found ourselves needed a backup carseat and my son is ready for a booster, so for our backup car, we went with a booster seat without the harness system. This seat, then, was never intended to be my boy's primary seat and I spent more money to make his primary a very nice one. For the lower price, you are able to get a booster that is easy to assemble, easy to install, and easy to buckle a kid into. The seat is comfortable, according to my son, and has a cup holder, which is a must. I wish there was more padding, but you get what you pay for and this is supposed to be safety tested and a safe seat.

Best seat for smaller big kid
My daughter is 7 and small for her age. She was done with the car seat she had since infancy, it transitioned and still worked for her but she felt like a baby in it. I wasn’t ready to give up the head protection since she is so wee so we got this rather than just the bottom booster seat. It can latch in and that part is every easy or it can just sit in the seat. She uses the seatbelt normally and in this seat is able to buckle herself and unbuckle, big kid stuff. It has a cup holder and a snack holder which are essential at this age since they can’t reach the standard car holders. The latch tightened is easy to use in the front of the seat, can also be loosened from there. Makes moving the seat from car to car a breeze. I’m glad we found this one and a decent price.
