D_Mannose sugar =Sweet Relief--No more UTI
I can't recommend this stuff highly enough. It really works. You have to maintain it.I can only list a handful of supplements that I can FEEL doing their job. This is one of them. The powder is not only cheaper--more for the money---it's easier to take--unless you prefer to swallow pills. It tastes good--it's sweet, but the sugar in it is not table sugar--it's another molecule and is not supposed to affect blood sugar levels--so it's supposedly ok for diabetics (which I am not) DO YOUR OWN MEDICAL RESEARCH OR ASK YOUR DOCTOR--don't listen to Amazon reviewers about anything that serious, but if they say there's not proof it works--go ahead and discount that and give it a try--many people are impressed with the effectiveness of this supplement and I am one of them. It works by sugar coating the bad bacteria--it clings to the bacteria and prevents the bacteria from clinging to the walls of your bladder. If you have any bladder/kidney issues, are susceptible to getting urinary tract infections, especially if you are female and post-menopausal--you want to add this to your daily regimen. The pills works just as well, I just prefer the powder. If you get occasional UTI---make sure it's cleared up first---I don't like to use antibiotics, but some infections require them--use this as a preventative so you stop getting them.

BLADDER INFECTIONS GONE!
I have used this product (capsules tried first) for at least 5 years. During that time I have had zero bladder infections. This is the BEST product to prevent UTIs I have ever used. I do not have to use this every day, but I do use it frequently. I love the powder option. The flavor of this is wonderful, like drinking a lemonade. To be so easy to use, this formula packs a punch. The mannose evidently creates an acidic quality that prevents the bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall. Try this. You will prevent future bladder infections. Once you have opened this, keep the lid on tight. It will get a little a cakey over time, but dissolves immediately water. It does the job of cranberry juice without the calories, too.

Daily use keeps UTI's away
UPDATE! Formula has changed enough that this does NOT work for me any more. I've been trying to use the new formula for 2 months with no help. I found a company that sells the old formula and it worked as it always had. It also no longer mixes well (very clumpy) and tastes bad......The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the price fluctuates between $25 and $50. I feel that $25 if pricey, but I usually buy a few at that price so that I can have it on hand. $50 is way too much for a month supply.I have had UTIs for almost five years now. I was on antibiotics every other month for a few years until my Dr. put me on a low dose for 12 months. After this, though, I still got UTI's. I went to see a different specialist and he recommend D-Mannose. This is the first brand that I tried. A couple other brands did not work for me at all, but this one has worked wonders for a couple years. I take about a third to half a scoop three times a day (always one right before bed), and I can feel confident I won't get an infection. If I take less or miss a couple of doses (sometimes I forget in the afternoon), I almost always get a UTI. I have not found that it will "cure" a UTI if I use it after I feel symptoms; I have to go back to antibiotics to get rid of symptoms. I recommend giving this a try for anyone that wants to lessen their frequency of UTI's.

So much easier
I was taking 4 pills of D Mannose every day and this stuff has been a godsend. Its a little more expensive than my other supplement but taking 4 pills out of my routine has helped me be more consistent. The powder can stick together if it isn’t well mixed so I either mix it with a fork or a frother. The flavor is great. I have frequent UTI’s (4 last year) and haven’t had one in the past few months since starting D Mannose. I’m so grateful and hope the trend continues!

I love this stuff
I love this stuff. All of my girls have been to the doctor on and off for urinary tract issues. I wish I would have done my research sooner. At the first symptom, I give my boys and girls half a scoop in about 1/2 cup of water or a little less for the little ones- once a day. Twice if their symptoms are severe. It tastes like pink lemonade. It usually only takes a few doses and they are fine. No more sad trips to urgent care and crying because they dont want to or can't pee in a cup and then waiting for a test to come back negative. Of course, do not ignore fevers. My daughter had tummy pain and a fever that wouldn't go away. On day three, meds were not reducing the fever. She had no UTI symptoms but ended up in the ER with a kidney infection. So for regular discomfort when urinating, cloudy or foul smelling urine- this stuff is amazing and great for kids.

It actually works!
This stuff is literally a miracle in a container. I use to struggle with bladder infections atleast once a month, no matter what I did.Now I take this and it has changed my life and gave me the quality of my life back. I was having to go to to doctor constantly for antibiotics which are not good for you long term. This stuff is incredible and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Works well/Doesn't mix well
I prefer the other kind of d-mannose powder. I can even put a spoonful in my mouth and grab my water and chase it when I don't take the time to mix it on the go. This kind is so terrible in my mouth and I also find it doesn't mix well in water either. Unless I got a bad batch, I'd never recommend this kind. I'm going right back to regular d-mannose powder that tastes like powdered sugar & mixes with anything easily.

Useful as a preventative
I used to get frequent UTIs as a result of catheters use. Several years ago my naturopath suggested d-mannose; it has been a godsend. Unlike antibiotics which kill off beneficial bacteria and compromise immunity, d-mannose lines the bladder wall preventing inflammation. I find that Solaray d-mannose is best used as a preventative; if UTI symptoms are acute I use the more concentrated NOW d-mannose.
