I bought this product after watching a YouTube video on how to use citric acid as a toilet tank cleaner to remove hard-water stains, lime scale, sulfur, and iron deposits. Let me tell you, it worked AMAZINGLY! My toilet tank was BLACK and YELLOW inside! It was disgusting! I put in 1 cup of citric acid, stirred it around, and waited 4 hours. When I came back, the toilet tank was GLEAMING!! I've heard about (and tried) the vinegar trick, but vinegar doesn't hold a candle to this product! I've even added 1/4 cup into my clotheswasher and dishwasher to get rid of those white hard-water spots! An amazing product which can be used for a lot more than just a food preservative!

The price was good, and shipping was prompt. I don't usually use citric acid for cooking, but it's good to know that if I do, this is food grade. I have extremely hard water, and I use citric acid to clean hard water stains.

I can no longer find Dip-It to clean my percolator so citric acid was recommended and it work just fine,but not as good as Dip-It.
