5 of the 6 broke doing medium duty sweeping at our horseshoe pits within 2mo. very weak thin aluminum and joints are weak and crack easily. Our other brooms have lasted 10+ years, and fianally are reaching their end.

For the price, these are a fantastic value and the broom head itself is fantastic. The only fault, which for some is a convenience and main reason for purchasing, is the stick breaks down and has weak points because of it. It is nice to be able to break these down and very easily store, but it simultaneously creates a weak point and subsequent bend in the handle at each of the connection points. The more pressure, the larger the bend. I think just knowing that this should be considered a light duty broom and go into it knowing that is critical. I still would recommend these, just with that caveat. Overall it is a fantastic value, especially considering you get 6 of them for the price of 1 or 2 from a home improvement store.
