The wood is not a bad quality, have been using it for few months now without any problems.But note that when it arrives, it has a certain smell that goes away only after 4-5 washes.

These are real wood spatulas. The wood quality is very good. Their is food grade varnish finish which makes it non-sticky.I loved both the spoons. Absolutely worth the money.
